Zombies are less cool than Santa
I like writing movie and show reviews. I'm sorry, I know that I should be writing reviews about traditional Christmas movies at this time, but for some weird reason, I feel like talking about zombies. Maybe it's because the other day I had a very weird conversation with a zombie and I just can't shake the thought of them out of my head, even though I'd much rather be sitting on Santa's lap and telling him about my wish list.

Reviewing a Hat Trick of Villainesses from "Don't Let Him Find You"
2024 has been quite an interesting and delicious year for Lifetime thrillers. I'll definitely delve more into that in my annual year end top 10 list, which I've been writing since 2021. I've enjoyed a lot of these thrillers and the villainesses that have come with them, and that collection does include this movie that aired on Black Friday: Don't Let Him Find You.

Bandish Bandits Season 2 Review
So after a very long wait, finally Season 2 of Bandish Bandits has arrived on Amazon Prime. Well, I watched the show four days back because I got early access. So, how is this show, what was my experience? Let me share. Well, guys, Season 2 of Bandish Bandits begins from where the first season ended. I mean Radhe has become the music emperor and Tamanna has gone out of his life. So, what happens next, in what way does Radhe come back on the stage, in what way does IBC begin, and in what way do Radhe and Tamanna clash face to face once again, to know everything you will have to watch this show which has eight episodes, whose average length varies from 40 to 50 minutes, the last two episodes are more than an hour long. Now if I want to review Bandish Bandits Season 2 for you in one word, then I would say masterpiece literary masterpiece. When Bandish Bandits series was new in the market, then in India's web series market, we mostly got to see crime thriller, murder mystery, suspense thriller type of shows, then among them a different musical drama named Bandish Bandits came and even today when its Season 2 has come, I do not remember any other musical drama coming apart from this show, so from that time till now we have not seen anything new in the TV industry or the OTT industry, but wow, this show has not left the tune it had started. To tell you the truth, I have seen the fun factor that was present in Season 1, and nothing was meaningless; everything made sense. It was good to see. Like the first part, this time too the music is superb. Thanks to Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy. Why are their songs not coming out in Bollywood these days? I would like to mention that they are amazing composers and what amazing songs they have composed here. I mean whether it is classical music or today's pop trend, all the songs were amazing. How the entire backstory of a classical family is seen in the show, or the entire journey that is seen, and the entire family drama makes one emotional.

My Review of "Rocky"
Rocky is a classic movie that came out back in 1976. It just shows you how timeless it is when it can still entertain me today. I've seen this movie many times and each time I get something more out of it. From what I remember, this is my favorite movie of the franchise for a reason. Watching it again I can see why.

Longlegs
Okay…I want to clarify right at the top here that we are only watching this movie for journalism purposes. I really can’t stand Nicholas Cage movies, he seems to be getting harder to avoid though. He’s been in 3 movies in 2 years and it is a lot. I think he was uniquely suited for Dream Scenario and Renfield but his face still bothers me. So here we are with my against my will review of Longlegs.

Juror #2
Some movies get really great marketing, others are more independent. And some movies come out completely under the radar, like Juror #2. I didn’t hear a single thing about this movie despite the cast being relatively well known. Nicholas Hoult, Zoey Deutch, J.K. Simmons, and Keifer Sutherland all star, so you’d think that they’d warrant a little more attention and fanfare. And it was produced by Clint Eastwood but I don’t think that this film even got a real wide release, it was only put in like 50 theatres. So really the definition of under the radar.

Summer Camp
We talked a lit bit last year about how older women get treated in the industry. They really don’t have that many acting opportunities and when they get them the roles are regulated to grandmothers and witches. So when 80 for Brady and Book Club came out it was a win for both the industry and for women but those films are still few and far between. This year the only one we really got was Summer Camp starring Diane Keaton, Kathy Bates and Alfre Woodard. Keaton also helped produce the film.

Immaculate
Sydney Sweeney is Hollywood's latest bombshell. She gained popularity due to the show Euphoria and the unfortunate side effect of that is she has now been unable to break herself from what I like to call the Marilyn Monroe effect. She is a gorgeous blonde that people immediately dismiss the intelligence and talent of. Last year she starred in Anyone But You, which I loved and think she did a great job in. And this year she took the leap and did something entirely different, Immaculate. Horror is a newer genre for her but I think she is built to be a scream queen, so let’s see.

Maeri Web Series Review: It Feels Like a TV Serial
Friends, the contribution of ZEE5 in the world of Indian OTT has not been that special. I mean that there has not been that much good content on this platform and the quality of the content was also quite low but somewhere in between ZEE5 upped its level and brought out some good shows, after that there was a hope that ZEE5 would make a splash. Now recently a new show of ZEE5 has come, Maeri, about which not many people would know. I also saw it randomly and then thought, "Let's review it." Now let's find out what kind of show it is. So in Maeri, you get to see the story of a mother and her revenge that her daughter has been gang-raped and now she has to take revenge, whether she can take revenge or not, to know this you will have to watch this show which is available on ZEE5, it has seven episodes, the length varies around 25 to 30 minutes. Now, if I describe the review of the Maeri Web Series for you in a few words, then it is masterpiece shit. The story here is of a Mom movie, starring Sridevi, well no problem that the story here is taken from some other movie but it at least shows the intensity that was in the original movie, even in a Web Series there is a good scope to expand and develop other things but there was nothing like that here, there was nothing, a novel factor that the story content is good but other than that whatever things are there or should I say the execution, all of them are poor. First of all, this doesn't seem like a web series at all. From any angle, it feels like we are watching a TV serial on the OTT platform. I mean, the production value seems so low that don't even ask.
