Is Diplomat based on a true story? 🤯
I like political dramas a lot. After watching The Diplomat, House of Cards on Netflix, my expectations from this movie regarding diplomacy had increased a lot. That is, what is shown on the outside is one thing, but inside, something else happens. If you are going to watch this movie with this expectation, then stop for a while and at least read this review. Before the negatives, the positives and strong points of the movie are: In the first half, John Abraham's impact is felt to be almost negligible. The main impact is made by Sadia Khateeb, who played the role of Uzma Ahmed, an Indian citizen who goes to Pakistan marries a Pakistani there and gets caught in domestic violence. Now she gets a chance by going to the Indian Embassy in Pakistan. In short, the whole movie is shown to have been shot in Pakistan. So, you will feel a lot of tension in the whole movie. If you have seen The Kerala Story movie, this girl, Uzma Ahmed, has been trapped in the same way. Sadia's performance in the role of Uzma is outstanding. The director has to be praised. There are some goosebumps moments in the movie. There is a rape scene in the movie. The rape is not shown completely but the camera is on the eyes. Tears are falling from the eyes. The rape is going on continuously with her, and then as soon as the rape stops, the BGM also stops, and tears fall from their eyes. At that very moment, one feels that Uzma has been trapped in a very dirty way. First half ends and there is a sudden interval. It seems that they had not planned where to do the interval, and then after the whole movie, they thought let's put a cut here. In the second half, you get to see a courtroom drama. In short, you know what is going to happen in the end, and that is what happens, and it feels so easy to you that you feel that it should not have been shown so easily. Instead, there should have been a lot of struggle. Akshay Kumar's Airlift is the best example. By the end, the tension gets built up so much that we know what is going to happen in the end, but still, there is a doubt whether it will happen or not. In short, the movie reaches its peak in the first half, and then by the second half, it drops completely, and in the end, there is an emotional moment or, say, a moment that awakens nationalism in us. But nowhere in the second half will you feel that the movie was bad or what a shit they showed. Instead, you feel that this thing could have been shown even better. There is only one action scene in the movie, and they could not even capitalize on it, which happens in the end, how small children fight; it just ended like that. But the movie is based on a true story; it is not inspired by a true story; all the names are real, like Sushma Ji, and JP Singh, who is a diplomat and is the main lead. I wish JP Singh was doubting Uzma in the beginning. Have you come here to ask for help, or do you have some other intention? Jab wo bolta hai, ya to tum bahut lucky ho ya bahut badi fraud. If that thing was dragged out better and longer, we would have seen a little diplomacy. I did not feel that the name of the movie is Diplomat, but apart from all this, there are no songs anywhere in the movie and yes, till the end, the main villain, Tahir, feels like a 'cheapster' who has bought ten goons outside the court. There are many such dialogues about Pakistan's safety, and security, all of which made a mockery of. Thank God, there are no songs in the movie, so it does not feel like a time pass at all. I was not bored at all for 2 hours and 15 minutes. It is a must-watch once.

Mystery Island: Winner Takes All (2025)
Solving two murders while partaking in a murder mystery party all while trapped on a deserted island sounds familiar right? But no, it’s not an Agatha Christie novel. It’s Hallmark’s newest mystery movie in their “Mystery Island” series. Since this is movie number two, I do have to say that the series has a unique premise that calls back to the original, noir, locked room mysteries. If you didn’t see the original “Mystery Island” (2023), worry not. The two films interconnect in characters and location, but the games are unique to each movie. However, I do suggest going back and watching it as well, since it was also a really great film. This time we find that Mystery Island might be bought by a developer and needs an excellent game to entice their investors into letting them continue their murder mystery tours.

My Review of "Rocky V"
Rocky V is a regarded as one of the worst Rocky movies of the franchise. It came out in 1990. I was dreading the moment where I would have to check this movie out but I'm going through this series chronologically. This movie would be inevitable. Fortunately, I don't think it's quite as rock bottom terrible as others believe it to be, but it isn't a great movie either.
