Malcolm in the Middle and the Quiet Chaos of Growing Up Poor
Some shows entertain you for a while and then fade. Others sit with you for years, showing up in your thoughts when life feels messy or unfair. Malcolm in the Middle belongs to the second kind. On the surface, it looks loud and silly. Kids yelling, parents arguing, problems piling up. But underneath that noise is something honest and deeply human. The show understands what it feels like to grow up in a house where money is tight, emotions are louder than words, and no one has time to slow down. Watching Malcolm in the Middle feels like remembering parts of childhood you did not know how to name back then. That is why it still matters.

Everyone Is a Suspect. AI-Generated.
I’ve always been drawn to stories where the danger isn’t lurking in the shadows—but sitting right next to you. Small towns. Isolated groups. Smiling faces with secrets tucked just beneath the surface. Give me a setting where no one can leave, and I’m already locked in.

Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein is one of the most iconic literary works of all time. It has received a number of adaptations and the newest one to join the ranks is Guillermo Del Toro’s Frankenstein released just a little earlier this year. The memorable story was a match made in heaven for this well known and awarded director. With seemingly the perfect project, perfect director, and perfect cast many classic literature fans and cinephiles were waiting with baited breath for this film to drop in theatres and on Netflix.

Steampunk vs. Cyberpunk: Aesthetic vs. Ideology
At a glance, steampunk and cyberpunk appear to be two visually striking genres separated only by time. One is filled with brass gears, corsets, and steam-powered inventions; the other glows with neon lights, cybernetic bodies, and towering megacities. But beneath the aesthetics lies a deeper divide—a philosophical disagreement about progress itself.

Marvel Zombie. Top Story - December 2025.
The last entry into our 2025 superhero projects catalogue is Marvel Zombies. This was a show that was anticipated by absolutely no one and it disappeared from the public consciousness as quickly as it was released. There was nothing special about the project that made it a must see, or a must remember. In fact if anything it's a must forget.
