Black Warrant Ending Explained: Did Charles escape?
Tudum!!! There is confusion among many people regarding the ending of Netflix's web series Black Warrant. In the last episode of the show, it seems that everything is going well and everyone's life is coming on track, but in the last moment, something happens that makes us think. It forces you to wonder what happened and how it happened. So, as you must have understood from the title, today we will talk about Black Warrant Season 1 ending, and I will also try to give you an update about Season 2. I have a request for you: if you have not seen the Black Warrant Web Series yet, then first watch the series and then come back here; otherwise, if you have no problem with spoilers, then continue reading. Before the ending, let's talk about a little recap of the series, so what happens in the series from the beginning? So the series plot revolves around Sunil Kumar Gupta who is appointed as a new jailer in Tihar Jail. This entire series is also based on the book written by him. Sunil comes from a middle-class family background, and working in challenges like Tihar Jail was quite challenging, how difficult it was for him; you can see this thing better in the show. During his duty, he faced many convicts getting hanged, fights among prisoners, his beating, pressure from senior officers, family pressure and many more. His character has been portrayed very well in this entire series, which makes the story also very engaging. WELL, now let's talk about the ending of the series. So in the last episode of the series, we get to see how Gupta and his companions together have made the entire prison environment completely peaceful. The leader of the Tyagi gang has also been shifted to some other place and other prisoners are being kept in a mixed ward according to their alphabets. Amidst all this, we also see that Charles requests Sunil to celebrate his birthday, and he wants sweets to be served to everyone; Sunil also agrees. In the last few minutes of the series, we see that all the police, prisoners and guards are lying unconscious and when Sunil runs to Charles' room, Charles is not found there. There is a book named Disappeared on the table in his room and the series ends here. Well, this was a clear hint that Charles had escaped from jail. On the pretext of his birthday, Charles ordered sweets and laddus in the jail which had something fixed mixed in them. Upon eating them, the guards and all the people fell unconscious and Charles took advantage of this and escaped. The series ends here and also gives a hint about season 2.

Most Mediocre Movies of 2024
There were a lot of incredible films this year, there were also a lot of terrible films this year. But most movies filled the space in the middle. Not groundbreaking or award worthy, and not so terrible that you’ll never stop complaining about them. In fact most of the movies that came out this year were very good, they just weren't great. These are not the movies we are talking about today. Today we are talking about the films that are so mediocre you just forgot about them, or they were just a point or two away from being absolutely horrible or absolutely fantastic. These are the most mediocre movies of 2024, in no particular order.

The Watchers
At some point in last year's movie discussions we are going to have to talk about the sheer amount of nepo babies that were actually fantastic in movies. Because there were quite a few. But they were not just in them, they were making them. The Watchers is the directorial debut of Ishana Night Shymalan, yes M. Night Shymalan’s daughter. Her father produced the film and she both wrote and directed it. Now M. Night’s movies are rather hit or miss, and he often shits the bed in the third act, so is this a genetic trait? Or will his daughter actually follow through, let’s find out.

My Thoughts About the 'Brave New World' Trailer
A new year brings new movies. This year, a total of 50 films are scheduled to be released in theaters. Among the slate of movies is Captain America: Brave New World. A fitting Valentine's Day release is a perfect time for you and your significant other to see this superhero film. Or if you're single like myself, this is also the movie that you should go and see. The 35th film of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, or MCU, stars Anthony Mackie, Giancarlo Esposito, and legendary actor Harrison Ford. However, I dislike Valentine's Day for a number of reasons. First, I feel like it makes single people like me feel miserable. Second, it's too commercialized and forced onto those who don't have a romantic partner to spend this day with. Third, it puts too much emphasis on highlighting couples expressing their love for one another in commercials and other forms of media. It's not to say those are bad things to promote. I've been single for a little over five years. In 2019, I was engaged to be married in March 2020. However, complications made it impossible for me and the man I was with at the time to make our wedding happen. I won't go into details, but we mutually decided to part ways, even though we loved each other very much. I'm nearing 40 and haven't given up on finding love again.

Ek Farzi Love Story Review | Worth 10 hours of your time?
Friends, among the content that came this week, there was a show which, to be honest, I did not dare to start because it was very big, that show is Amazon MX Player's show Ek Farzi Love Story. Now, slowly, I finally completed the show; let me tell you what my reaction was. Well, guys, Ek Farzi Love Story is the story of an influencer who somehow wants to go viral on social media, that is why she creates her fake love story, now to know what happens next, you will have to watch this show, which is available free on Amazon MX Player. The total number of episodes of the show is 20. Yes, you heard it right, there are 20 episodes in this show, the length of which is half an hour each, which means that this show is a ten-hour long show. Now if I review the show Ek Farzi Love Story for you in two words, I would say it is NOT BAD. Look, before starting this show, it seemed that the same things would happen and it would not be fun, but the show is not that bad, yes, definitely it has not created any masterpiece and presented it, but at least nowadays, the way Chapri influencers create the entire environment of their love, then fake marriages happen, fake breakups are happening, fake fights are happening and the way they are creating a ruckus among the viewers in their midst or say a game is being played to make the viewers lose their senses, it is the same thing. However, it has not been made. There are many loopholes. The characters that should have been exposed were not shown. It has been sugar-coated somewhere. Look, the dynamics of the characters are very good. You will feel a connection completely. That is for sure. Apart from this, all the actors who were taken have done their work beautifully. You will feel a pounding feeling with them. So that was good. The chemistry between the characters was also very good. And the music of the show is very good. It means you get to listen to some good songs and the melody is completely successful in giving you fun. There is no doubt about it. Although the dark side of social media has been explored quite a bit, it has given a reality check somewhere; however, if this thing had been explored in a better way, I guess this show would have been even more amazing. Somewhere in the climax, the real touch was not given; a typical love story was made and presented, which I did not like and somewhere in some places, this thing was even justified, so I did not like that. I would like to tell you further that the show is very long, which means if you want to binge-watch it, then you won't be able to do it. It is a 10-hour-long show, and on top of that, there are so many ads that it will easily take you 11 to 12 hours to watch. And according to me, the borderline of this show is not so grand that it will take you a full 10 hours. This show could have easily ended in two to two and a half hours but many characters were meaningless. So, all in all, if you like romantic dramas or romantic K-dramas then this one falls somewhere in the same line. I did not find this show very good, but I liked the theme, that is why I will give the show 5.5 out of 10. In terms of parental guidance, there are some kiss scenes, and you get to hear some abuse. Disney Plus Hotstar and JioCinema Merge Update
For a long time, the news of the merger of Disney Plus Hotstar and JioCinema was at its peak. I mean, it was being said that by December, this merging would be completed, and we would get to see a new platform named JioHotstar. Many updates kept coming, but December and January are half over, and there is no news. Now finally, guys, I have got a shocking update. Now, what is that update? What is the status of this merge? Today, we will find out about it. Well, Disney Plus Hotstar had a good subscription base when they had IPL. After the IPL and some matches, their audience has decreased somewhat. However, despite this decrease, the number of subscribers they have is not less, they are in a good amount. On the other hand, we see JioCinema which is acquiring and buying a lot of content and the good thing is that the external content that they are bringing, be it of Peacock TV or HBO Max, they are dubbing it in Hindi, which no one had even thought of dubbing before JioCinema, so their strategy is quite good and their premium subscribers are somewhere completely happy with this and when IPL comes, their audience and their popularity are at their peak. Now see, all the things were finalized, JioHotstar was almost done but their initial economy team somewhere thought that if merging happened then there would be a loss because right now two subscriptions are running, one of Jio and one of Hotstar, but if they become one then the audience will be cut somewhere, meaning the audience will benefit but they will not benefit, now for this reason keeping this thing in mind, this merging will not happen now. Yes, guys. Amazon and MX Player have merged which became Amazon MX Player. As you know, ZEE5 and SonyLIV were also merging, but that deal has been completely called off. And now the deal between JioCinema and Hotstar has also been called off, meaning that Disney Plus Hotstar and JioCinema are not going to merge. For now, this update is completely confirmed and for the time being, the idea of merging has been completely dropped by them. Disney Plus Hotstar will run separately and JioCinema will also run separately; both will bring their content and publish it on their platforms. Now guys, from my point of view, this thing is not right for the audience because if both of them were merged, then we would have to take only one subscription and we would get to see a lot of content in that one, but now if you take the subscription of Disney Plus Hotstar separately and JioCinema separately, then we will have to pay extra money, this news is not right for us. Yes, it is good for the OTT platform that they will get more money but from the audience's point of view, this thing is not going to work completely in our favor. So, friends, this was the update that I had to give you. I remind you once again that the merger of Disney Plus Hotstar and JioCinema will not happen now because there is an issue of money. And one of my favorite young actresses is Rachel Zegler, so when I found out that she was in an animated film, I knew that I was going to have to check it out. Spellbound actually has an incredibly stacked cast and I know no one hires Rachel unless they are going to let her sing. So I am super excited to dive into this animated musical adventure.

Don't Move
I definitely watched more than my normal amount of Netflix films this year and honestly that is because streaming services have really stepped up the amount of original content that they put out. And I feel it is my job as a film journalist to keep a good pulse on the quality of said content so that I can direct people accordingly. I will say that both Netflix and Prime Video seem to be putting a lot of time and effort into romantic comedies. But we have explored a few other genres as well. There have also been a lot of horror/thriller films. Today we are tackling Netflix’s Don’t Move. A film that based on the premise I can’t believe that got an hour and a half out of, let’s see how.
