Top 10 Lifetime Villainesses of 2024 (Part 2: The Top 5)
Unlike last year, where I pretty much had my top five pegged for months, this year was just a tad difficult. I really had to do some decision making and give it some deep thought, but I am satisfied with the second half of this year-end top 10 list. These five villainesses really showed out the most in 2024, and for a look at Part 1 of this list, click here.

I.S.S
I.S.S was yet another movie that I recall seeing the trailers for several times and then hearing nothing else about it. Several films that were released at the beginning of this year fell off the face of the earth. Now to be fair the film didn’t look particularly good or interesting but still. Normally there are strong feelings for movies either way, people that love them won’t shut up and people that hate them are even louder (it's me, I’m people). That said, too many movies from January-March were not talked about at all. So what is missing?

Spaceman
Okay so I am in the camp of thinking that people like Adam Sandler, Ben Stiller and the like might have a lot of acting range. They just don’t use it very often. Adam Sandler has like one serious movie over the last 20 years, and honestly his brand of comedy is exhausting. That said he was in a new movie this year that is classified as a sci-fi/drama which is something that he has never done before. I was intrigued to say the least. So we are watching Spaceman with Adam Sandler, and Carey Mulligan.

Top 10 Lifetime Villainesses of 2024 (Part 1: #10 - #6)
2024 is coming to a close, and this year was quite interesting in the world of Lifetime film villainesses. Hard to believe that this is my fourth year doing this; I first got to work on this list back in 2021, when I was just getting my feet wet on Vocal. Lifetime villainesses are absolutely delicious; a fact I've known for many years, and they just keep getting more and more amazing as time goes by and the Lifetime movies continue to evolve and develop. It was a hell of a job picking ten villainesses who really stood out this year, but after careful thought, here is the first half of this list for 2024:

Gladiator 2
This past Tuesday evening started like any other—dinner waiting on the table, a pile of exams needing grading, and my mind already on autopilot. But then, Out of the blue, I came across news that Gladiator II was playing an early screening at a nearby theater. Without a second thought, I booked a seat for the next evening at 7 pm. The idea of returning to the grandeur of ancient Rome had me counting down the hours with eager anticipation. Sadly, despite my best efforts, I couldn’t find anyone to join me at the last minute. What a shame—this was not a film you wanted to watch alone.
