Becoming the son of a thief
Rich John never struggled in his life. The parents acquired a lot of property and used that property for their bad addictions and neglected their parents, so the parents died of grief thinking about their son John.

Being cautious has become very common these days. If you think about the need of caution in life, you will get money ahead of time and hide it without fear of spending it because of the fear of the future.

Almost every marketer wishes they had a crystal ball so they could peer into the future and see what’s hot in the coming year. Unfortunately, most of us are not clairvoyant, but we can usually look at certain current trends and predict which will have staying power.

I have never been to Troy, but David Maule made me feel as if I were standing on the high wall of Troy, watching the fierce war. Thanks to this British author, who adapted the famous Homer’s poem into a lively story, I found it easier to understand this story. Though the story happened over 3000 years ago in a remote place, I was deeply fascinated by it. The mysterious plot is one of the reasons why I loved The Story of Troy so much, yet I am more interested in the human heroes of the war.
Review of 'Ghosts of the Shadow Market'
From #1 New York Times and USA TODAY bestseller Cassandra Clare comes an exciting short story collection that follows Jem Carstairs as he travels through the many Shadow Markets around the world. Ghosts of the Shadow Market is set in the world of the Shadowhunters. The Shadow Market is a meeting point for faeries, werewolves, warlocks, and vampires. There, the Downworlders buy and sell magical objects, make dark bargains, and whisper secrets they do not want the Shadowhunters to know. Through two centuries, however, there has been a frequent visitor to the Shadow Market from the very heart of the Shadowhunters’ world. Jem Carstairs is searching through the Shadow Market, in many different cities over long years, for a relic from his past. Follow Jem and see—against the backdrop of the Shadow Market’s dark dealings and spectacle—Anna Lightwood’s doomed romance, Matthew Fairchild’s great sin, and Tessa Gray as she is plunged into a world war. Valentine Morgenstern buys a soul at the Market and a young Jace Wayland’s soul finds safe harbor. In the Market is hidden a lost heir and a beloved ghost, and no one can save you once you have traded away your heart. Not even Jem.

It must be said that the word love has many meanings. Love has impurity whereas false love has no impurity. But by tying impurity to love, the impurity of love also suffers.

I finished wringing the clothes off and started to get tired myself. I'm sure it was mostly from dealing with our little friends. I still felt sore all over. They pierced my skin plenty of times. We're lucky their weapons weren't poisoned, or we'd be goners. We could not have dodged all those attacks in the dark. Knowing I was tired, I scanned for intruders before deciding who to wake up next.

Splash! We fell off a cliff into a river. It was narrow and in between the forest. That must be why we didn’t notice it before. We probably were tricked. It seems like they expected us to fall to our deaths. Luckily neither of us smashed into any rocks. The water was too deep to walk in, and If anything, that saved our lives. Or maybe just mines. These brutes probably lost a leg or arm falling about 50 feet. The river stream had a gentle current going down. After locking our eyes and regaining our composure, we decided to go with the draft.

We had a fire; I patched everyone while we were periodically attacked. I started thinking to myself. We have to end this battle soon. Bulls Eye and John could use the rest as the fight wore on, though. We started getting used to their timed attacks. Instead of getting tired, we were getting more focused. It'll still be a problem once the adrenaline wears off.

Jay,when I writePublished 2 years ago in GeeksSeptember '22 Reads
Another monthly roundup. Not necessarily because I read so many books in September – I only read four – but mainly because they were very emotionally draining books. Maybe? I don’t know how else to describe them. Maybe I just had a very emotionally draining month that made it hard to read?

It’s Fall! For me, that means it’s the perfect time to sit inside with a blanket, some tea, and a book. Don’t worry, I have plenty of cozy reads to warm your heart, make you cry, and feel all the fun emotions in between
