Waiting on Hope (Pt. 1)
Finding hope was always an easy thing for Suri. Above all, trying to share that hope was one of her dreams. The one thing that Suri desired the most was to keep shedding that rare light that is missing in between these cold and brutal brick walls. Every corner that she turned to was a projection of those walls. Those walls that have pained through lie, betrayal, fake personas, and aggression. Though, she thought, there must have been much heart expanding moments here, as she walked towards her bus stop to commute to work.

Ananse. I just can't with him. Even when he's in a good mood, he'll trick people just to test their patience and sense of humor about themselves. They're not those accepting smart jokes. It's like he gets this sick, sadistic pleasure out of seeing the reaction of his victims, especially when he's angry with them. It's this look of dark glee. It makes me hate him for it. I think he likes pushing the envelope, but it's not to see how far they'll let him go, but to push their buttons. He loves enslaving them to him through the anger they feel at him. It makes him feel powerful.

Logan was in his room reading one of his astronomy books. Well, he wasn't reading as much as he was staring at a page while his mind drifted elsewhere. He started to remember what happened earlier that day:

Patton's POV I found this really interesting show while channel surfing the other day. My cookies were in the oven and everyone was doing something with Thomas that I couldn't exactly remember, so I wanted to find some way to kill time. While channel surfing, I came across some show that consisted of a little girl and a puppet that looked like a pirate. It seemed like an old show, but it still intrigued me.

Chaos erupted in the Mind Palace the Sanders Sides reside in and the source of it was an argument between Roman and Virgil, which didn't surprise anyone anymore, but what somewhat stood out was the subject of the banter: what type of Christmas tree they should put up.

When the first girl disappeared, there was a minor stir, some condolences for the family, not much else. When the second girl disappeared, only Hansel saw a pattern. I didn't disagree with him when he brought it up to me, but the town hall laughed him out of there. I had to cook him his favorite soup that night. He still moped on the bench outside after dinner. He said it was to keep watch, but I could tell it wasn't.

Location: ??? "Miguel? What's going on?" Miguel watched from a distance as what he assumed was an alternate version of him, was standing in between a woman and a tall, intimidating, man with long black hair and glowing orange eyes.

Location: Brooklyn, New York, Earth 1610 Hey, there. If you don't know who I am, my name is Miles Morales, and I'm the one and only Spider-Man. Well, in my dimension that is. I'm sure you remember that one day where the city blacked out and things began to appear where they shouldn't be. That was the day I learned that there were people just like me, from different dimensions. Some of them were ordinary people like me, while others were a little different. Despite that, we all teamed up and defeated Kingpin, the man responsible for the dimensions mixing together.

Aphrodite was queen bitch of the popular girls. In fact, she defined what it was to be a popular girl. Whereas Nike was popular and kind, Aphrodite was just plain popular and got that way by stepping on other kids' heads. She didn't care who she had to do it to to stay ahead. She even dated Ares, the quintessential popular boy, in that he was a jock, quarterback of the football team, and naturally exuded that confidence that only popular kids did.
