Would Star Wars still be popular if it were released today?
Imagine if you will, the year is 1977. The top movie of the year is a science fiction movie, but it isn’t based in a galaxy far, far away. Instead, the events occur on Earth. It is not from an emerging filmmaker named George Lucas. The writer and director of this movie is Steven Spielberg, who had already enjoyed cinematic success with movies like Duel and Jaws.
Exploring Humanity - "Strange New Worlds" Season 2, Episode 5
Much like the first season’s fifth episode, “Spock Amok”, the fifth episode of Star Trek: Strange New Worlds second season is a “hijinks” episode. “Charades” is a focus episode on Spock and Nurse Chapel, with a fair amount of comedic hijinks thrown in. Combining an accident with interdimensional aliens with a tense sit-down with your prospective in-laws is an ingenious move on the part of the writers.
Nicholas KingPublished 9 months ago in GeeksReviewing a Pair of Killer Villainesses from "Meet the Killer Parents"
Similar to Shohei Ohtani this season, Tubi seems to hit it out of the park every time they come to the plate. Their latest big time home run came in the form of Meet the Killer Parents, and this was the film I was looking forward to the most out of Tubi's batch of July films. The film centers on Grace Perkins, a young woman who was in a relationship with wealthy Rob Whitby, and only has her best friend/roommate, May, in her life, as Grace lost her parents at a young age. May is wary, but happy for Grace, who ends up going to Rob's house to meet his parents.

Brandon Sanderson is incredible!! I loved this book! It starts out a little slow, like a lot of his novels, but it starts getting really good.

Warning to all feminists: Do not read this book. You will literally throw a fit over it. Heck, I threw a fit over it and I don't consider myself a full-blown feminist.

Mission Impossible is a rare beast; since 2006, the series has only gotten better with every new film; each has been more thrilling, expansive and exciting than the last, pushing the boundaries on all fronts. With Mission Impossible: Dead Reckoning, we have a two-part offering; while it doesn’t match what came before, this thrill-ride is well worth taking.
