Whis resolved the issue of Zamasu returning, by figuring out that sending Trunks to a point before Zamasu begins his destruction, Whis can send word of Zamasu to Lord Beerus and Beerus will eliminate Zamasu before he ever becomes a threat; finally putting an end to Zamasu altogether.
