Reviewing Lifetime's 1st Thriller and 1st Villainess of 2025
For the last few years, I get my info on upcoming Lifetime thrillers from a site called Futon Critic, and I took a look at the films that would hit Lifetime and LMN in January. As I wrote my year end Lifetime villainess list for 2024, I instantly looked forward to what Lifetime would give us in 2025. Sure enough, three days into the New Year, Lifetime Movie Network gave us this wonderful gem, Dressed to Kill, which brought back the normal routine of LMN premiering movies on Fridays.

After discovering this fairly recently and neither loving or hating it I realised that parts were gripping, poignant and simply brilliant. This epic, iconic lady who sang with grace making it seem effortless, needs a platform in order to feed the hunger for some kind of truth that demands to be told.

American Primeval Review: How Netflix’s Bold Western Outshines Kevin Costner’s HORIZON
American Primeval on Netflix takes a no-nonsense, brutal approach to the Western genre, offering viewers a raw, violent, and chaotic depiction of the American frontier. Directed by Peter Berg and created by Mark L. Smith, the mini-series steps away from the nostalgic sheen of most Westerns and instead dives into the darker realities of 1857 America. With themes of survival, violence, and the human cost of expansion, this show might just have what it takes to stand out in the crowded Western genre post-Yellowstone.
