Wow! I am loving this season of Survivor so far and it just began! This is amazing! I love the cast, I love Boston Rob & Sandra, I love the twists, I love everything about it! This season started out so different, no official "marooning," no sight of Jeff Probst, just Vokai and Lairo both arriving at their beaches and getting started. That is wonderful. From Janet starting the fire to Missy's wonderful story about how she went through the air force, having a brain tumor, and then surviving it, and getting on Survivor. That is just amazing. I also especially love the paranoia as to "What does Island of the Idols mean." That is very fascinating to witness. It put a big target on Jason at Vokai, who right away went to search for the idol. And at Lairo, Elaine, Tom & Vince created their alliance, though, they were gone for so long the other seven kind of figured out what was going on, and decided for them to align with each other. Though, later on, Elaine found this out after showing off her likability and aligning with the other women on her tribe. And also, Ronnie didn't like how likable she was. So, he pretended to align with her, but really was targeting her. Elaine though, she was smart enough to see through it, even if he was using his poker playing skills to convince her. So, there's clearly a rift between Ronnie & Elaine. At Vokai, Noura told Jason about his target since he reminds her of her ex. Also, Dan was being way too touchy for his own good, creeping out all of the women on the tribe, mainly Kellee, who spoke to him about it. So hopefully he's gonna realize that it's pretty creepy to touch and massage girls without consent and he should try and fix his social skills. Jack made some friends and found a squirting clam, so that was extremely entertaining, and Tommy showed off his skills as a fourth grade teacher to bond with people, making alliances with pretty much everyone, including a main six.

At the immunity challenge, the tribes battled it out for the first immunity and flint. It started out an even match, Vokai with a little lead, then Lairo caught the lead near the end, only for Vokai to take it back and to the end at the puzzle portion, giving Vokai the first win of the season. And before Lairo went back to camp to prepare for Tribal Council, Jeff announced that one of them would go to the Island of the Idols and return to camp before Tribal Council. Elaine picked a name out of a bag, and it was Elizabeth. And when she got there, oooh, the surprise. First, the two statues, then she saw them, Boston Rob & Queen Sandra have returned to be mentors in this season! And oh boy, did they mentor her. Basically they talked for a while about her experience so far, then, Rob taught Elizabeth how to make fire. And eventually, after some training with Sandra, she learned. And then, it happened. The test! Rob offered Elizabeth the opportunity to battle against him to see who can build a fire hot enough to burn through the rope first. If she wins, she gets an idol good for her next two tribal councils. If she loses, she loses her vote at the next tribal council. Ultimately, she chose to agree, and take the risk right away, battle Boston Rob, not knowing he could've easily added more power to the idol or more deals to get her to say yes. Instead, she went for it right away. And what do you think would happen if a new person battled in a fire, making competition against a four time Survivor veteran who has already made 100s of fires with all of that experience? So yeah, Rob defeated her easily. Tough lesson, listen to your gut, and know when to go for risks, and when to not. Then, she chose, without seeing who from Vokai would be the next person to visit the Island of the Idols. Back at camp, it became a frenzy of who's going. Elaine's name kept coming up, which frightened her, and of course, Ronnie's the one to have mentioned her. Then, she confronted him about it and convinced him and Aaron to change their minds and they decided on Vince. But, of course, there were multiple people also talking about taking Ronnie out, including Elaine & Tom. And when Elizabeth got back to camp, she didn't tell them the truth about it, since knowledge is power. So, she just told them that she had to pick between urns, and picked the wrong one on the Island of the Idols. And everyone kept talking to her about the vote, unaware that Elizabeth lost her vote.

At Tribal Council, the tribe all walked in and said their peace before the vote. However, peaking in a nearby tower watching Tribal Council was Boston Rob & Sandra, observing everything that was going on and making comments. Of course, they had quite a bit to say. Like how when one said it was hard to have to vote someone out, Rob asked Sandra and she was like, "No way. I vote you out and that's it." Thanks Sandra, I've missed your hilarious blunt personality. I'm so glad she and Rob are back again. I've missed them both. Anyway, the tribe talked about Elaine and how nice she was, which could be a target. Though, that's honestly a little ridiculous to make a move like that on Day three. And Vince even was upset that he could be the target. And Ronnie just went on and on about all of the jobs that he's gone through, and I was just watching like "Dude, you realize how arrogant you're sounding right now? GO HOME!" And ultimately, got my wish. Ronnie was blindsided in a seven to two vote and I cheered. Overall, tonight's episode was amazing, and a fantastic premiere to a season that I know I will love. I can't wait to see what happens next week when Aaron gets upset that nobody voted with him and Ronnie, and the game gets more crazy. #Survivor #SurvivorIslandoftheIdols #WelcomeBackRobandSandra #BostonRob #SandraTheQueenOfSurvivor #QueenStaysQueen #IVoteYouOutAndThatsIt #AwesomeCast #ByeRonnie #Blindside #AwesomeSeason #IslandoftheIdols #DontChallengeTheBest #StartOfAnAmazingSeason #SurvivorPremiere
