Wow! Fantastic Survivor tonight! So first off, nice job getting WarDog out, Ron. But, now Devens is pissed. So, Ron gives him an expired advantage. Well then, that earned favor but unfortunately, Rick won't get to use it but, nice move Ron. Then, the loved ones visit. Absolutely beautiful. It is always heartwarming to see the castaways reunite with their loved ones who they are playing for. It was just beautiful. Rick & his wife, Lauren & her dad, Victoria & her dad, Aurora & her brother, Ron & his husband, Julie & her husband, and Gavin & his new bride, as he revealed that they had to move the wedding to two days before he left since he got on Survivor. It was a nice reunion and a quick challenge that lead to Ron & his husband winning a nice food reward, bringing Julie, her husband, Gavin & his new wife with them. Ron said it was for the honeymoon, but really, it's because he wants to keep Gavin on his side. He even mentioned that on the reward. He spoke all about the game with his husband while they all enjoyed the food and the company of their loved ones. He spoke about how he's running the game and his husband supported him, telling him to do what he has to do to win.

Meanwhile, Gavin & his wife—especially—enjoyed their Survivor honeymoon, giving Gavin an extra boost to win for her. Back at camp, Rick goes out to look for the idol and when he comes back, Aurora is caught looking through his bag, without a care. Rick calls her out and she says that she doesn't see it as awkward, she doesn't care. Rick then proceeds to tell Ron to keep his bag close in case they look through his too. Afterwards, Rick, with his bag, goes to look again and find a clue. But, he finds out the idol's above the shelter. So, that night, he climbs on a tree right above said shelter and, despite making some noise, he doesn't get caught and he gets the idol. At the immunity challenge however, Rick loses first in the famous stay-on-foot-pedestals-while-in-between-walls challenge. In this short battle, ultimately, Gavin won immunity, keeping himself safe.

Before Tribal Council, it seemed clear that Rick was gonna get the majority of the votes tonight. Ron knew that Rick could save himself with a separate idol, despite the expired advantage, so he told Rick to vote Aurora, taking out a different threat. But, then the game gets really interesting. Victoria, Lauren & Aurora make a new plan, to blindside Ron should Rick play an idol. Aurora even went a step further for the plan to ensue by giving Gavin her extra vote should a tie occur. But, Gavin wasn't so sure about that move. So now, it's Rick, Ron, or Aurora going. This was gonna be an exciting Tribal Council tonight, and that it was With Ron getting called out for his loved ones challenge choices, Rick calling out Aurora again, acknowledging his own target and playing the expired advantage, then calling out Ron & Julie and playing a real idol. This then lead to Rick saving himself and Ron ultimately getting blindsided.

Overall, this was an epic episode of Survivor and I can't wait to see what happens next week when Rick continues his outcast-fugitive ways and the Edge of Extinction gets a new special delivery. Seriously, awesome episode. I am loving this season so much!
