I don't know about you but I have been WAITING for this moment to come!

Solo Leveling is here and they are not disappointing.

Just a small warning, some spoilers shall be mentioned in this article/rant.

CrunchyRoll has spoken that it is set to be streamed in 2024 and I cannot wait. Many fans who have read the manga have explicitly waited for an anime like this to come out to our big screens and since the announcement, some can't wait any longer. (I am one of those fans)

Solo Leveling

The most I am willing to anticipate is how the first episode shall introduce our main character Sung Jinwoo and the armies he summoned throughout his journey. My most feared antagonist is that creepy smiling statue that brings nightmares for me but seeing as it's about to hit the big screens by 2024, I wonder how far their creep factor can bring.

Not only am I excited for this anime, I am looking forward to all the new and old fans coming together to discuss how they see Solo Leveling for the first time, their initial thoughts, their theories, memes and many more to come from the anime community.

Before the drop for it's anticipated anime, there has been songs and OSTs dedicated to Solo Leveling.

The first one I shall promote is The Boyz "Echo" as their inspiration for their MV is derived from the Solo Leveling universe and Juyeon being the main character to Sung Jinwoo, brings the armies to life. The link to this Echo MV is here.

Second one I do want to promote is that a collaboration between Hiroyuki Sawano & TOMORROW X TOGETHER "LeveL" as they will be the ones to do the opening theme song in "Solo Leveling" which the article iterates here.

With the release coming to us soon, I hope so many people can discuss what they like and anticipate from the manga, what their favorite scene was, their focus or whatever else is about the anime. The more discussions, the better the engagement in having the anime faster ( That's my analogy ).

Anyways, anyone who isn't familiar to Solo Leveling, here's a brief summary guide of the storyline found by Wikipedia.

Solo Leveling, also alternatively translated as Only I Level Up (Korean: 나 혼자만 레벨업; RR: Na Honjaman Rebeleop), is a South Korean web novel written by Chugong. It was serialized in Kakao's digital comic and fiction platform KakaoPage beginning on July 25, 2016, and was later published in full by D&C Media under their Papyrus label on November 4, 2016. The novel has been licensed in English by Yen Press.[1]

In a world where hunters — human warriors who possess supernatural abilities — must battle deadly monsters to protect mankind from certain annihilation, a notoriously weak hunter named Sung Jinwoo finds himself in a seemingly endless struggle for survival. One day, after narrowly surviving an overwhelmingly powerful double dungeon that nearly wipes out his entire party, a mysterious program called the System chooses him as its sole player and in turn, gives him the extremely rare ability to level up in strength and turn anyone he kills into a loyal minion called a shadow. Jinwoo then sets out on a journey as he fights against all kinds of enemies, both man and monster, to discover the secrets of the dungeons and the true source of his powers.

Overall, as a fan of Solo Leveling, waiting for this anime is a dream come true for me. Not only am I able to watch the story in anime form, I get to watch what I have imagined played out on the screens. The cinematic fights, how each of Jinwoo's army are picked and stripped from their life, falling in love with the female MC, the death of his team during the first episode, his mentors death, the final battle, the preparation, the comedic aspects of Jinwoo and his right hand man, his henchmens antics despite the seriousness, so many more. I have so much excitement and I cannot wait for the buzz to start once it drops.

If anybody needs me, I'll be in my home, sitting perfectly watching this show to it's end.

Who's excited? Let me know in the comments!
