Reina Roja Review

Reina Roja, also called Red Queen, is a crime mystery thriller show on Amazon Prime. It has seven episodes, each around 45 to 55 minutes. I've watched it, and now, through this review ride, I'm sharing what I liked and didn't like. Let's talk about it without waiting. You'll enjoy it, believe me.

Firstly, let me share a quick overview of the series plot. The show revolves around Antonia, a super smart girl involved in a secret police project named Red Queen. She teams up with her partner, John, to investigate a big kidnapping and murder case. To find out if Antonia and John can solve the case together, you've got to watch the series.

Reina Roja Review

Now let's talk about my experience watching this series. So, firstly, this series is a very stylistic crime drama, plus the story of this series is also engaging. The mystery that you will get to see in this series will keep you easily hooked from start to finish, but at the same time, this show will also feel like a mixer of ideas taken from some other famous crime dramas.

For example, the characteristics of the character Antonia in the show are those of Sherlock Holmes.

And on one hand, the character of detective Will in Hanna Bell's amazing series, like Will in the Bell series, could recreate the crime scene in his mind and tell what would have happened at the crime scene. Antonia will also be seen doing something similar here. Plus, her smarts are inspired by the character of Sherlock Holmes; hence, the character of Antonia seemed to me like a mixer of other characters, but still, Antonia is a complex character in this series, and she has an interesting backstory also present in the show.

On the other hand, John, who is Antonia's partner, comes in the category of a fun character who will be seen providing comic relief in this show; hence, you will start liking the relationship between John and Antonia with the slow progress. And you will also get emotionally connected to these characters to some extent.

There is good suspense in the rest of the story, and you will get to see some decent twists and turns in this series, as well as some intense or thrilling moments.

Conclusion

Overall, the show's story will keep you interested, but it feels a bit slow at times, making it seem long. There are a few small gaps in the story. The actors do well, the music is nice, and the show has a unique look. The overall work put into making the show is pretty good.

In short, if you like crime mysteries, it's worth watching. It's fun. But be aware that it's not for families because it has some nudity, grown-up talk, and violent scenes. Also, the story from season 1 isn't finished yet, and there's a season 2 coming.

So this was my review of Amazon Prime's brand new show, Reina Roja. I hope you enjoy it. Don't forget to give me a like.

See you soon.
