Reason Behind Harry Potter’s Magical Wizardry And Popularity

We have been through a lot of books and series throughout our life. But why is Harry Potter being magically popular than any other? Among millions of famous and experienced writers, how come Rowling made her debut book a best-seller of all ages? Is it really possible to make your first writing worldwide? Or was that luck or something else?

Well, there are a lot more reasons to justify the popularity that Harry Potter has gained in the past twenty-three years. And an article is not enough to state all those. So here, I am going to justify few reasons which you can actually relate to your liking towards the Potter series.

The novels chronicle the lives of a young wizard, Harry Potter, and his friends Hermione Granger and Ron Weasley, all of whom are students at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.

Childhood:

Childhood is the only age that we always long to go back. This is the only period of happiness that has an enormous collection of nostalgic moments. And being more specific in that, we literally love the days we spent in our schools. Rowling predicted the same which ended up scripting her characters in and around their schooling throughout the book. And this brought huge attention from youngsters and adults, even though it is a Children’s tale.

Friendship:

This is one more happiest elements of the Harry Potter series. A good friendship is what we always long for. Because in real-time we always end up being betrayed with the name of friendship. Moreover, this happens with almost 80% of people, which results in degrading our trust over friendship. And that is why we always dream about true friendship than having one. Rowling drafted a great friendship between the main characters which actually makes our desire fulfilled while reading.

Magic and Power:

Magic always plays a vital role in attracting people, despite their ages. You can either be a ludo-playing kid or an IT professional, but your liking for magical powers is the same all the time. Because we always want us to be more powerful than others. We love the way of being unique with enormous power which would make us stand in greater heights in other’s perspectives. So over here we can actually see the interconnection of Magic and Power together.

Unfulfilled Desires :

Our unfulfilled desires are countless always, especially in our early ages. Harry, the protagonist of this story had the same when he was a kid. The desire of being with his parents, fair treatment in a way where Dudley gets everything in his aunt’s home, a few good friends, etc. These may seem simple in matters but it really hurts one, when he/she won't even have these simple things in their life. All these troubles of Harry make us easily relate to him and to the story.

The above mentioned were really a pinch of salt in a sea and there are millions of reasons why someone would literally get addicted to this high-graded fantasy series. I would really like to stress this point again that it is indeed a children’s tale but Rowling’s targeted audience was far beyond that and this mainly made it reach heights.
