Real Andrews Confirms To General Hospital Fans That Taggert Is Dead

General Hospital viewers were saddened when Marcus Taggert died this week. Social media was abuz with fans expressing their shock and sorrow. Many posted on Twitter reaching out to the actor who portrayed the detective. Theories that the death is a hoax began to surface but Real Andrews has put those notions to rest. On Twitter, the actor recently let it be known that his character is deceased. He told his fans it was a great run so it looks like he was brought back to die. Many viewers feel as though it was wrong to bring this popular character back only to kill him off so quickly. All, however may not be lost and time will tell all.

The outcry of soap fans in the past has caused other characters to be brought back from the dead so Marcus could resurface. Viewers know that last year, Stella found a close DNA match in Port Charles snd later Trina mentioned genetic testing. The thinking is that Curtis had an affair with Trina’s mom Portia but this brings up additional questions. Trina and her mother have the last name Robinson, and Portia who debuted on Thursday will is a doctor. How is it that Trina’s last name did not ring a bell with Mr. Ashford? If he had an affair with her mother while she was with Taggert, they why did the two men not know each other? All of this will be explained if what viewers are thinking turns out to be accurate. Soap opera’s also are notorious for revisionist history.

Whatever happens, General Hospital viewers are troubled that Real Andrews was brought back after close to two decades for such a short run. Some fans believe a Taggert is faking his death and will later find out that Trina is not his child. Some answers should begin to be revealed now that Portia has shown her face. For close to two years Trina has been hanging out with Joss and Cameron without any type of adult supervision. Her dad shows up only to die. Now her mom will be on hand and the interaction with Portia and Curtis will reveal a lot. A few years back Jordan acknowledged that T.J. Is the son of Sean Butler and not her late husband’s biological child. If Curtis finds himself in the same situation, then Subt Stella will really be blown away. Portia’s first time on screen was something to behold. She was pretty rude to Ava who for once was being nice with no ulterior motives. Ms. Robinson accused her daughter’s employer of trying to use Trina to replace Kiki. She was not even thankful that Ms. Jerome allowed her teenager to do an internship at her gallery. It looks like this woman is a force to be reckoned with and if she had a past with Curtis, then she and Jordan will no doubt have bad blood between them.
