Movie Recap: Hanna

Hanna is a 2011 action-thriller film directed by Joe Wright and written by Seth Lochhead and David Farr. The movie revolves around a 16-year-old girl named Hanna, who has been raised in the wilderness by her father, Erik, to become a skilled assassin. Marissa reveals that she knows the truth about Hanna's past, and that she was created as a part of a secret government program called UTRAX. Hanna was one of several children genetically modified to become perfect assassins, but she was the only one to survive. Marissa tries to kill Hanna, but Hanna fights back and kills Marissa.

In the final scene, Hanna meets her father at a pre-arranged location. Erik tells Hanna that she is free to live her life as she chooses, but Hanna decides to go back to Sophie's family and start a new life with them.

Hanna is an intense and thrilling movie that explores the themes of identity, family, and revenge. Saoirse Ronan delivers a powerful performance as Hanna, portraying her as a strong and determined character who is struggling to find her place in the world.
