I know many of you are familiar with some of the characters here from classic films and others that have a cult film status

But what about characters from various films that are either classic or have that cult status?

Here are some thoughts for characters from various films that should be looked into.

Curtis Jackson

Played by Steve James (who sadly departed due to cancer in 1993 at the age of 41) was buddy to Joe Armstrong (Michael Dudikoff) and Sean Davidson (David Bradley).

After American Ninja 3, he did not return for the 4th or 5th installment of the series.

What became of this iconic character after American Ninja 3 is unknown, but he did say to Sean Davidson that he wanted to be done with ninjas, so that was probably one reason why he never returned to his role.

With that being said, why not make a movie today featuring this famous secondary character? If there is a decision to not involve him because of being tired with ninjas, his character could have had a son or daughter who winds up getting involved with ninjas.

Kyle Reese

The father of John Connor played by Michael Biehn, Jai Courtney and the dearly departed Anton Yelchin, has had his moments fighting against Skynet

But what about a Terminator film featuring him in the events leading up to him going back in time and meeting Sarah Connor for the very first time?

Sure the Terminator franchise has suffered some bad reviews as of late (especially Dark Fate where John Connor gets killed off) but what about a follow up from Terminator Salvation?

How did the father of John Connor learn to fight so fiercely and creatively against Skynet in both the post-apocalyptic future and the past?

This is why I suggest the idea of making such a film with such an iconic character.

Michael "Micky" Goldmill

The mentor and father figure to Rocky "The Italian Stallion" Balboa certainly had his methods of training fighters and the right words to motivate. But what kind of person was he before he became the most iconic character in the Rocky series?

He was born in 1905 to a Jewish family and he boxed from 1922 to 1943. Never made it to the professional leagues of the Boxing world, but he did well enough to have 23 KO's and 1 loss.

There is no mention of him having a wife or kids even on the website listed below. So if there was to be another addition to the Rocky series, why not have a prequel series about the former owner of Mighty Mick's Gym?

John Kreese

The primary antagonist of the Karate Kid trilogy is one ruthless and mean S.O.B., so much so that he destroyed Cobra Kai in the trilogy and seized it back from his student Johnny Lawrence in the Cobra Kai series.

But who was he before he became one of the most ruthless martial arts master in popular culture?

Before, he was a U.S. Army captain who served in Vietnam and was the Army's karate champion before receiving his discharge and founded Cobra Kai.

Would it not be interesting to see what John Kreese's life was like before he became the evil karate master? I sure would look forward to that.

Shingo

Played by legendary actor Bolo Yeung who played the villain Chong Li in the 1988 film Bloodsport played a martial arts master in Shootfighter: Fight to the Death, where he learned that his students are participating in a competition in Mexico hosted by Martin Kove (or as you know him better as John Kreese) where all the fighters fight to the death.

While the movie shows that Bolo Yeung and Martin Kove had a disagreement in the past (at the beginning of the film) it never goes fully in Shingo's past.

How did Shingo and Mr. Lee (Martin Kove) meet before the events of the film? or even, how did Shingo become an expert at shootfighting?
