From Liberty Bibberty to Dr. Finn

Tanner Novlin gained his claim to fame by acting in several Liberty Mutual Insurance Company Commercials. His most popular is the one where as the struggling actor he flubbed his lines and keeps doing new takes and exclaimed "Liberty Bibberty." This led to obtaining his current role portraying Dr. John Finnegan on The Bold and the Beautiful. "Finn" is married to Steffy Forrester (Jackie Wood) and they are a popular fan favorite .Unfortunately they have a lot of obstacles against them.

Novlin was born on April 9, 1986 and has had roles in Bones, Parenthood, and Modern Family. He was also in a 2009 direct-to-video horror film Maneater. He had a role in Roswell New Mexico and the Hallmark holiday film Christmas Class Reunion. He married Kelly Ewell in 2019 and the couple have two children a son and a daughter.

The dynamic duo and Emu

Wood is currently on maternity leave after giving birth to her 4th son. Her character is out of town in Paris hiding out from Finn's diabolical birth mom Sheila Carter a known murderer portrayed by (Kimberlin Brown). B&B fans wonder if the couple can survive or if Steffy will turn to he ex-husband Liam Spencer ( Scott Clifton).

Novlin has been front and center lately on the CBS soap but was not too busy taping episodes of The Bold and the Beautiful to step back into his previous role. Entertainment reveals he joined Doug (David Hoffman) who is currently the Liberty Mutual spokesperson in a new commercial along with Lemu and it's a winner. take a look at the ad below.

Lemu the Emu's owner Doug

Novlin's name is never mentioned in the insurance commercials but is called the "struggling actor." Hoffman appears in the ads for Liberty Mutual as Doug (no lst name) the owner of Lemu the Emu and the duo is a hilarious team. Hoffman looks nothing like his character Doug without his mustache and glasses and bright red hair so fans may not recognize him in public.

The actor has appeared in the television series Bones, Castle, and Modern Family. He is married to photographer Jaime Kowal. He was born in Philadelphia and grew up on various U.S. Army bases. Hoffman was classically trained as an actor at the University of North Carolina School of the Arts (H.S. Diploma) and Boston University (BFA) according to his IMDb) .

He also trained at The Groundlings School in Los Angeles and joined the Sunday Company in 2006 and the Main Company in 2008. At Groundlings he wrote and performed hundreds of original sketches and improvs. At the same time, David began appearing in TV commercials (including several Super Bowl ads) and guest starring in numerous films and TV shows including Bridesmaids (2011), 2 Broke Girls (2011), and a regular role on the improvised Western series Quick Draw (2013). I'm no Odds-Maker, but if Liberty Mutual has any smarts in its marketing wing, it'll keep these guys together as long as possible. For a smart person like Tanner (as proven by his several roles in established programs), playing an idiot as well as he does (Oh, Look! Liberty Biberty...) is an accomplishment. And "Doug" is a fine straight-man foil for Tanner's idiocy. I'm all set for insurance, but I bet this duo will be good for business.
