Millions of fans around the world are still debating on the topic on whether Marvel or DC is better and here I am.

Before we proceed any further here is something taken from Wikipedia, The Marvel Cinematic Universe is an American media franchise and shared universe centered on a series of superhero films, independently produced by Marvel Studios and based on characters that appear in American comic books published by Marvel Comics.

Here is another article taken from Wikipedia about DC Comics or more popularly known as DC, DC Comics Inc. is an American comic book publisher. It is the publishing unit of DC Entertainment, a subsidiary of the Warner Bros. Global Brands and Experiences division of Warner Bros, a subsidiary of AT&T's Warner Media. DC Comics is one of the largest and oldest American comic book companies

Now lets bring out the battle.

Building Quality Time With The Audience

To begin with let's start with Marvel, I believe they have spent time improving their quality and building a feeling towards all of their characters be it Iron Man, Captain America, Hulk, Thor and many others, from what I understand is before releasing the original Avengers as an entire movie itself, they made sure that the audience has gained enough trust and support to at least the main characters of the movie.

But in the case of DC according to me I believe they didn't spend a lot of time on building a confidence and trust with their audience for as said above at least with their main characters (considering there was no single movies for Cyborg, Aquaman or wonder woman)before actually releasing the Justice League on 17 November 2017 (USA, According to IMDb).

That's a point for Marvel.

Releasing Movies In a Pattern.

Next up on my list is the pattern on how the movies are tend to be released, Marvel movies keep the regular pattern, more like a flow for their movies to perform better and to keep their audience engaged without giving up hope especially by placing references from either old movies or for future movies or sometimes from comic references(which I think most movies do that) to keep the fans pondering.

DC however had a bit of problem by releasing movies in an "odd way" because movies like Aquaman‎(21 December 2018 (USA). Should have actually released before the Justice league Movie(but that did not stop Aquaman from being an amazing Block buster movie) to make fans have a sense of understanding the character.

Captain America: Civil War or Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice

The time when problems and confusion among heroes occurs.

To be frank, Batman v Superman was not what I expected from the title because a majority part of the movie just shows how Batman thinks Superman is a threat and the villain being Lex Luthor and then the movie goes all about how batman prepares for the fight and the storyline isn't having a great Development at all except in a few scenes, DC made Ben Affleck(the person I believe is the Best Batman Of all time) and Henry Cavill(the person I believe is the Best Superman Of all time) seem like they just came, did the acting and done.

(I know that "The Dark Knight" has his scenes always or mostly shot in quite dark and low light especially at night but for this movie it went to a much higher level of night time, I remember trying to figure out what was happening on screen during many of the scenes) This is just my own opinion only, it might not coincide with yours.

Captain America: Civil War was absolutely a different movie mainly with the splitting of Avengers and a Civil War happening amongst them for Winter Soldier(Bucky) caused by Baron Zemo, but what makes it different was not just the story line or the entry of our friendly neighborhood Spider-Man but the way the plot or the scenes being shown out to the audience in a way the audience would actually accept or feel contented watching it.

Critic Reviews

Yep.

Critic Reviews, that might not seem like very much, but trust me when I say this it plays a very important role as from my own experience I can surely say that there are people out there who watch a movie based on Critic reviews only.

Now in this case, Justice League received 6.3/10 from IMDb and was given 40% rotten by Rotten Tomatoes.

But however, The Avengers received 8/10 from IMDb and was given 92% Fresh by Rotten Tomatoes.

And of course, not everyone in this world watches a movie using reviews.

The Best Part

So here's something to actually decide, both Marvel and DC have provided us with something memorable, it has made our favourite childhood heroes come to life rather than being stuck in a comic book page or in our imagination.

And from the past movies DC has learned a lot, it has brought to us a new better, amazing movies like Aquaman, The Wonder Woman and One of the Biggest Blockbuster Movie Joker(2019) which gave us an amazing Oscar winning actor Joaquin Phoenix.

As for Marvel they have given us movies forever to be remembered from Iron Man to Endgame.
