Marrying Millions Season 2 aired its mid-season finale on Wednesday, October 7, 2020. The reality show will return in January 2021. An exact release date has not been announced, but it is expected to still be aired on Wednesdays at 10 PM on Lifetime.

About "Marrying Millions"

Marrying Millions is a popular reality television series on Lifetime that premiered on July 10, 2019. The show is now in its second season. One couple from Season 1 is on Season 2 along with five new couples. All six couples have something in common.

One of the pair is a millionaire and the other person is not so rich. In fact, one person might be struggling to make ends meet. The couples face scrutiny from friends and family because of differences in the couples' backgrounds, age difference or some other issues.

Let's see where each couple stands as viewers wait for the return of Marrying Millions next year.

Desiry and Rodney

Desiry Hall and Rodney Foster (pictured above) have several issues that have kept them apart for two years. They say they love each other, but they live on different coasts. Rodney owns a townhouse in Washington, DC in an expensive neighborhood. He also owns a lake house in Maryland. His net worth is $5 million and growing because of his successful wine company.

Desiry lives in Los Angeles. The 25-year-old former police officer now works for a non-profit. She has been divorced twice, but she wants to marry Rodney. He pays her rent, all her bills and travel expenses for her to visit him.

Rodney, 51, has no siblings and appears to be a mama's boy. He has kept his relationship with Desiry a secret from his family because he didn't think his mother would approve of her. Rodney was right. When he introduced Desiry to his mother, she didn't like her. She thinks Desiry is a gold digger.

Another issue is that Desiry insisted they will not be intimate until after marriage. During the entire season, she insisted that Rodney marry her first. They did get engaged during the mid-season finale. Therefore, when the reality show returns, viewers will see the couple making wedding plans unless the mother disapproves when she finds out about the engagement.

Brianna and Bill

Brianna Ramirez and Bill Hutchinson are returning from Season 1. There is a big age gap between them, but they told Fox News the age gap is actually a positive because they can learn from each other. Brianna just turned 22 and Bill is 61. There is another couple on the show with a much bigger age gap.

The couple is still together after two years. Bri wants to get married, but Bill says he is afraid to get married again because he has been divorced twice and has five adult children. Three of them are older than Bri.

Bill is the riches of any of the people on Marrying Millions. His net worth is at least $100 million. The real estate magnate built a hotel in Dallas. His company manages several dozen shopping malls and operates more than one million square feet of showrooms, art galleries, and restaurants.

Bill and Bri come from opposite backgrounds. They met when Bri was waitressing at a Tex-Mex restaurant in Dallas. At first, she found Bill's lavish lifestyle challenging to get used to. She has gotten used to having some of the finer things in life.

Bri is close to her family and seeks their approval. Bill's first ex-wife Kathleen doesn't approve of the relationship. She still remembers Bill as a cheater and womanizer. The ex-wife doesn't get along with Bri's mother who wants Bri and Bill to get married and have children together. Therefore, there is tension between the two families.

Erica and Rick

Erica Moser is 23 years old, and she is a relationship with 68-year old Rick Sykes. That 45-year age difference is the largest age gap on the reality show. Their families and friends don't approve of the relationship.

Rick says he doesn't know how much money he has, but he guesses that it must be in the millions because he owns five Porsches, flies on private jets, and lives on a yacht in Miami.

Eric and Rick met on social media. It didn't take much time for Rick to invite Erica to live with him on his yacht. Rick proposed to Erica without asking her father for his daughter's hand in marriage. When Erica found out that didn't happen, she gave Rick the engagement ring back. Since Rick really wants to marry Erica, he traveled to see Erica's father. He apologized for not getting his permission. Even though Erica's family doesn't approve of the relationship, Rick's father gave his blessing for Rick to marry his daughter. When Erica found out what happened, she accepted the ring from Rick a second time.

Dani and Donovan

Donovan Ruffin and Dani Parra met in high school. At that time, Dani wouldn't give him the time of day. Now she works for him in a highly successful multi-million dollar real estate company. Even though they are dating, he pays her minimum wages and gives her no favors at work. He works her harder than the others. He explains the low pay by saying he gives her everything she needs because they live together.

The 25-year-old millionaire is worth as much as $15 million. He owns private jets, luxury cars and a very spacious house with a pool. He enjoys spoiling Dani, 25, with lavish gifts and trips around the world. Even so, Dani resents being a low-paid employee.

During the finale, Donovan and Dani visited Dani’s father to ask for his permission to marry her. Donovan doesn't speak Spanish so he had to do it the best way he could. Dani's father gave his blessing. Viewers will see the couple planning their wedding in the next episode of Marrying Millions.

Kevin and Kattie

Kevin David is an internet entrepreneur with a net worth between $50 to $60 million. He lives in an estate on the beach in San Diego, California. The 30-year-old self-made multi-millionaire is frugal, but he does own a penthouse condominium in Las Vegas and a Lamborghini. Other than that, Kevin doesn't spend much money on himself and almost none on Kattie, his 23-year-old girlfriend.

Kattie met Kevin when she attended one of his events in Mexico. Kattie's family, friends and viewers don't understand why she stays in the relationship with Kevin because he neglects her when it comes to spending money on her.

Kattie has to work odd jobs to pay her bills. Kevin took her out to an expensive restaurant. After the couple dined, Kevin insisted on them splitting the bill. Kattie knew Kevin was serious, so she paid her part. Once she asked to borrow money from Kevin to pay her rent. He was reluctant to do so. People on social media calls him a "cheapskate" while Kevin says he is not Kattie's bank.

Kevin moved to Las Vegas for his business. When Kattie visited, she said she wanted to move there to be with him. Kevin gave her a list of reasons why that was not a good idea. Kattie might leave Kevin before the series ends. In the preview for the next episode, viewers saw Kattie leaving Kevin. She says she is tired of the way things are going in their relationship.

Nonie and Reese

Nonie Crème is the only female millionaire on this season of Marrying Millions. The 48-year-old woman's net worth of $10 million was made by working in fashions and launching several international beauty brands in London. She now lives in Seattle where she has successful brands of makeup.

She met 31-year old Reese Record after swiping right on Tinder. She has houses in New York, London and Seattle. Reese sometimes works as an arborist and lives at a skate house with several friends.

The couple has been dating for almost two years. Reese's mother doesn't approve of the relationship because Nonie is 17 years older than Reese, was married for 22 years, and she can't have children. During the finale, Reese is seen moving into Nonie's mansion. He dumped a garbage bag of dirty clothes on the floor. He had another bag of clean clothes. Nonie told him to hang them up in a closet. He said he had never hung up clothes on hangers before.

Nonie had to make room for Reese's collection of skateboards. She is beginning to see that having Reese move in with her is more challenging than she thought it would be.

Three Couples Engaged

Viewers will see what happens with three engaged couples when Marrying Millions returns in January. Will Desiry and Rodney marry or will his mother talk him out of tying the knot? Desiry wants to get married quickly so she and Rodney can sleep together as husband and wife.

Will Erica's father walk his 23-year-old daughter down the aisle to marry 68-year-old Rick?

Will Donovan give Dani a pay raise after they get married, or will he tell her she doesn't have to work for him any longer?
