'Married At First Sight' Couple Woody and Amani Welcomes Their First Baby

Woody and Amani Randall from Married at First Sight Season 11 are now proud parents. The happy couple welcomed their first child on Friday, June 3, 2022. Their little boy weighed 6 pounds, 8 ounces and measured 20.5 inches. Woody and Amani named him Reign Randall. Amani had a home delivery because the couple wanted their baby to be born in a special and very intimate environment with just themselves and the birthing team around. That way they could create the energy that they wanted.

Unlike some celebrities, Woody and Amani did not keep the public in the dark about their pregnancy. Amani was 24 weeks pregnant when she and Woody and Amani announced their pregnancy last February while they were celebrating their two-year wedding anniversary. They revealed that their baby would be born in June.

After the birth of their first child, they immediately posted a full picture of him on social media instead of just his hands and feet as some stars do. Not only that, but the couple revealed what his name is.

The baby is only a few days old, but people on social media agree that he already looks more like Woody than like Amani.

Woody's Reaction

Reign's 32-year-old father and his 31-year-old mother are overjoyed about his healthy arrival. Woody says he has gotten an early Father's Day gift. He also said, “I’m looking forward to taking all the cheesy pictures with my baby, and wearing matching outfits.” Fans of the couple can expect to see those pictures with matching outfits. During the Lifetime series, viewers saw that Woody loves to dress fashionably.

Amani's Reaction

Amani shared on Instagram weeks before her due date that she knows her life is changing for the better. She said that she will never consider motherhood a daunting task. She added, "I will of course have to make sacrifices but my life is about to open a new chapter of living.”

The new mother described her baby as having a pretty relaxed temperament so far. She indicated that he is not really fussy and that Reign loves to cuddle and is super sweet. She didn't leave out telling her fans that her little boy smiles when he's sleeping and does a little grin.

Reign is just a few days old, but Amani is already recognizing some facial features. She admitted, "It's still pretty early, but we think he may look more like Woody. He may have Woody's eyes, but I think he has my nose."

Woody and Amani's Friends

Woody's close friend, Miles Williams was on the same season of Married at First Sight. He married Karen Landry. The four of them are neighbors, and they see one another almost every day. Therefore, Woody and Amani won't have a problem getting a babysitter whenever they need one.

Woody and Amani were good to watch on Married at First Sight. They got along well from the first time they met at the altar and said, "I do." There was not any unnecessary drama as viewers have seen in some of the more recent seasons. Woody and Amani respected and supported each other as well as knowing how to communicate.

Their journey caused the three experts to shed tears after they professed their love for one another on Decision Day. Fans were not surprised when they announced they wanted to stay married. Also, no one was surprised to find out they were still married during the reunion.
