Mariah's disappearance has twists and turns on "The Young and the Restless'

Wednesday on THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS Michael Baldwin and Rey Rosales discussed Mariah Copeland's disappearance. It was brought out that Ian Ward is still in prison so he is not a suspect. The men decided that it probably is someone that knows Mariah or has an ax to grind with Sharon, Rey said he could think of one person and then went to see Adam. Rey, like Chloe, does not believe that Adam has truly changed and both continue to expect him to slip up.

Those who watch THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS are growing weary of this storyline, especially since it has gone on so long without any real clues. Most fans believe that Stitch is the culprit and a few weeks ago he was caught in a lie. He said he had been hired at the Hospital as chief of surgery but Nate told everyone he had the job. Devon knows this but did not share it with Abby. Mariah's family and friends spent weeks blaming themselves for putting too much pressure on the pregnant woman instead of figuring out that something was wrong.

The only thing viewers know for certain is that she is in what appears to be an old-fashioned bedroom or hotel room. Stitch has been the person of interest for the Y&R viewers but the police have no clues. Rey tried to get a rise out of Adam by pointing out that Mariah hates him. Rey cannot let go of the fact that Adam saved Faith's life twice and is determined to catch him in some type of wrongdoing.

There would be no reason for Chloe to be nervous because she is in on Maria's kidnapping because she has no reason to do such a thing.

Those who watch THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS are hoping that one of the twists will be that Mariah's family will open their eyes and stop being so clueless about where Ben Rayburn is concerned. Devon needs to spill what he knows to Rey. Since Ben is not the chief of surgery where is he working and how is he surviving? Fans already suspect him so anything revealed about the doctor will not be that big of a deal. What might be a shock is if Mariah's kidnapping is somehow linked to Chance.

When THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS fired Donny Boaz they said the role would not be recast. Viewers are wondering why Chance keeps being mentioned and what the final outcome will be regarding his marriage to Abby. Will he go MIA or turn up dead and could he have kidnapped Mariah? Hopefully, Mariah will be found before she goes into labor and not give birth in captivity.
