Lore Olympus and Hooky Become Webtoon Graphic Novels

Two Webtoon Original favorites are now available in print

Have you ever wished you could own a physical copy of your favorite webtoon? Well, now you can! Webtoon has released the first volumes of Hooky and Lore Olympus with more volumes on the way. Webtoon has partnered with numerous publishers and distributors to bring these stories to paperback and hardcover, near you.

Hooky Volume 1 and Hooky Volume 2 Covers

Hooky follows the story of Dani and Dorian who have missed the bus to the school of magic. Now they must find someone who can teach them how to become great wizards and witches...or maybe not.

The story finished on January 9th, 2020 with over 700,000 followers. The series can still be read on the Webtoon app using Daily Passes.

Hooky, created by Miriam Bonastre Tur, was published by HMH Books on September 7th, 2021. Volume one includes the first 71 episodes out of the 222-episode series. All copies include new content, with signed editions being offered through Books-A-Million, plus Barnes and Noble. The book is currently available to purchase through numerous retailers.

Already have your copy of Hooky Volume 1 and Hooky Volume 2, then go ahead and pre-order your copy of Hooky Volume 3! The third volume will be released on September 5th, 2023. Lore Olympus Volume One, Volume Two, Volume Three, and Volume Four Covers

Lore Olympus follows the modern retelling of Hades and Persephone filled with friendships, secrets, lies, and forbidden love.

Lore Olympus was first published on Webtoon Canvas (formerly Webtoon Discover) before relaunching as a Webtoon Original series (formerly Webtoon Featured) on March 3rd, 2018. The story has grown a following of over 5 million strong, spanning numerous languages. Rachel Smythe's story went on to become a global sensation, winning awards at the Harvey, Eisner, and Ringo Awards. Not to mention an animated series is in production by Webtoon and The Jim Henson Company.

Lore Olympus, created by Rachel Smythe, was first released as a graphic novel by Del Rey Books and Penguin Random House on November 2nd, 2021. Five volumes are currently available for purchase by numerous retailers.

Volumes four and five of Lore Olympus will be released later this year in 2023. Both volumes are currently available for pre-order and each will include a never-before-seen bonus chapter. Exclusive editions are being offered through Barnes and Noble, featuring original cover artwork.

Lore Olympus: Volume Four will be released on June 6th, 2023. The volume will include episodes 76-102 of the webcomic. Barnes and Noble along with Illumicrate are offering exclusive editions. No pre-order specials have been announced at this time.

Lore Olympus: Volume Five will be released on October 3rd, 2023. The volume will include episodes 103-126 of the webcomic. Barnes and Noble are offering an exclusive edition. No pre-order specials or signed copies have been announced at this time.

Illumicrate, a book subscription, and special editions company, is collaborating with Rachel Smythe and Del Rey Books to provide exclusive editions of volumes three and four of Lore Olympus. The exclusive editions will feature a digital signature in both volumes, an exclusive cover for volume four, and ombre-sprayed edges on both novels!
