Lootere Web Series 2024 Review: Enjoyable Ride for me!

Lootere Web Series 2024 Review

Guys, my mood was completely spoiled after watching Heeramandi. I waited so much, and what did I get to see? To fix my mood, I started watching the Disney Plus Hotstar show Lootere.

So does this show deserve your time or not? Let's find out.

The story of Show Lootere is set in Somalia and focuses on the life of businessman Vikrant living there, whose shipment is coming through a ship, but unfortunately, that ship is hijacked by robbers.

Now what is the further story of this? To know, you will have to watch this show, which has eight episodes, each of which lasts around 45 minutes.

Lootere Review Hotstar

Friends, if I were to describe the review of Show Lootere for you in a few words, I would only say that it has proved to be an enjoyable ride for me.

When the show Lootere came out, people criticized it a lot, saying that it was a cheap copy of Captain Phillips, but let me tell you, it is not so. If you decide to follow this show from beginning to end, then you will know that many things give a feeling of freshness.

Yes, pirates, ship hijacks, and shipment-related stuff were ordinary, but the rest of the backdrop is entirely different, which is definitely going to be successful in giving you a very good, quite thrilling experience.

The characters are well-developed and have good depth. I guess this is the kind of show whose main protagonist is neither a hero nor a villain. They are seen somewhere in the shape of an anti-hero, due to which you feel something different or unique.

This show is 8 episodes long; the episodes are 45 minutes, yet the urgency that should be felt in the show is felt, which means the pacing is quite right because you get to see many different elements and also see different subplots in which your interest for sure will remain completely.

There are three to four things here, like what is happening to Vikrant's family; he is very worried about his family; there is a terrorist group being talked about; what is going on in Somalia; and, apart from this, what is happening in the ship. The crew that has been captured, what phase they are going through in their lives—all these things have been covered here.

Apart from this, what is the back life of pirates, by what type they become pirates, what is the poverty of Somalia, what is the political issue of Somalia—all those things have been taken care of here.

The production value of the show is quite good. The way Somalia has been designed here is very good. The design of the ship that is seen here and the rooms inside have been presented wonderfully.

The scene at the end when the ship explodes was also very good; the VFX shown there was top-notch.

So yes, be it art design or set design, a lot of hard work has been done in both.

Very good acting by the actors can be seen. There are not many known faces. You must know Rajat Kapoor; however, very few people know him. Apart from this, Vivek has played the main character, and no doubt he has done a very good job.

The acting of other characters is also seen as good, without any doubt.

I feel good seeing that new faces are getting attention here; they are getting work; at least everyone should get a chance; and then those who shine should be promoted.

Apart from this, the BGM is superb; I mean, the complete touch of Somalia has been given; I enjoyed watching it. If this show gets hyped, then definitely its BGM will be a hit and will be on everyone's lips, and why not? It was composed by Achint Thakkar, who is famous for making the theme song of Scam 1992 in the past.

Conclusion

The Lootere show overall is quite good, no doubt, but its climax will hardly seem impressive to many people.

I mean, if I explain without spoiling anything, then the ending of the Lootere show has been done exactly like the ending of Undekhi Season 2, meaning the ending of Undekhi Season 2 or the ending of this show is quite similar.

Overall, Lootere has succeeded in giving a very good experience; if you watch it, then I do not think that it will waste your time.

So in terms of parental guidance, this show is not at all family-friendly because you will see a lot of strong language being used, and there is also a kiss scene in the starting episode.

So this was my review of the Disney Plus Hotstar show Lootere. Hope you enjoy this review ride. If you have already seen this show, then you can share your viewpoints with me.
