Laura Wright teases “ Don’t tell Sonny” in photo with Stephen A Smith

Laura Wright who portrays Carly Corinthos on General Hospital recently shared a photo to Twitter. Loyal General Hospital fans should have immediately understood the caption. The actress standing next to Stephen A Smith, who plays a character who pops up in Port Charles from time to time, to help Sonny. His name is Brick and he adores Carly. He always kissed her hand and says how lovely she is. Sonny never takes it seriously and he and his spouse laugh each time his associate brings on the compliments. Smith has been on General Hospital off and on since 2007, first as a reporter and then later as Brick.

General Hospital fans love Laura Sisk Wright who is the third actress to take on the role of Sonny's wife. She was born September 11, 197o, and is a soap opera veteran. Her first role was as Allison Rescott Blake on Loving and The City from 1991–1997. She also played Cassie Layne Winslow on The Guiding Light from 1997–2005. She has been portraying Carly Corinthos on General Hospital since 2005 and in 2011, won a Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actress in a drama series. Wright was married to architect John Wright from October 7, 1995 until April 2016, when the actress announced that she and John were going to end their marriage. The couple has two children.

Laura wright is currently in a relationship with Wes Ramsey who portrays Peter August on General Hospital, but their characters hardly ever cross paths. Currently, Peter is expecting a baby with Maxie Jones but is also about to be exposed as a criminal whose deeds include murder. Viewers re still trying to determine if Mr. August will be put in jail and the key be thrown away, murdered or redeemed. At this point, the only thing that is clear is that Wes Ramsey and Laura Wright seem deeply in love off screen.

Stephen Anthony Smith was born on October 14, 1967 and is an American sports journalist, sports television personality, and sports radio host, as well as an actor. Smith is a commentator on ESPN's First Take, where he appears with Molly Qerim, and Max Kellerman. He is an NBA analyst for ESPN on NBA Countdown and NBA broadcasts and in addition, Smith also makes frequent appearances on SportsCenter as an NBA analyst. He also hosts The Stephen A. Smith Show on ESPN Radio and is a featured columnist for and The Philadelphia Inquirer, ESPNNY, and ESPN.com. The actor was also in the feature film, I Think I Love My Wife. Smith has 2 daughters who are one year apart in age but is not currently listed as dating anyone.

Brick returned to General Hospital on Wednesday, September 2, 2020, but did not get to see his beloved Carly. He did make sure to tell Sonny to give his regards to the lovely wife and as usual, Sonny laughed. Wright's caption which says her television husband should not be told that she was standing beside Brick and took a photo was all in good fun. Sonny and Carly both joke that Brick has a crush on Mrs. Corinthos, but it's all in good fun and he respects Sonny too much to try anything. The mob boss and his associate have mutual respect for one another. Besides if he did try anything, Brick might end up swimming with the fishes.

Currently, on General Hospital, the Corinthos family is dealing with the impending death of Sonny's dad from Alzheimer's disease and the threat of drug dealer Cyrus Renault. Brick asked his associate if he could help with either one and who knows he might return to do just that. The action on General Hospital has been heating up ever since the show returned from hiatus. There have been a lot of twists and turn and also fan favorites returning to the screen. Felix, nurse Amy and Epiphany are back and viewers want to see more of them.
