John Wick vs Michael Myers

The Boogeyman vs The Boogeyman

In my older articles I did two John Wick scenarios where he would go up against The Punisher, Batman, and even Neo from the Matrix. So far John Wick didn't disappoint. He's either been above average or decent in his assassination killing spree career.

Since John Wick has been nicknamed "Baba Yaga", which means in the John Wick franchise; "The Boogeyman"... but according to the Russian folklore, it loosely means "Abused/Abusive Grandmother"(depending on the context).

For the sake of this article, we won't focus on the latter. Instead we'll gear towards the first. The reason being, is because I wanted to know if John Wick aka The Boogeyman could beat up Michael Myers who is also nicknamed The Boogeyman. Only John Wick was nicknamed The Boogeyman because he was someone you send to kill The Boogeyman. Needless to say, I find it fitting to have John Wick, aka The Boogeyman to be sent to kill Michael Myers aka The Boogeyman.

With this article, we will be going over statistical analysis on their skills, on screen kill counts, and what drives them to kill. In the end, we'll figure out who would be the last man standing, or in this case, The Real Boogeyman!

I should note that since Halloween has received a number of unnecessary remakes and sequels, we will be focusing more on the films that mattered most. However, if I feel the need to make this duo more interesting, I will add said films into the mix.

That being said, the Rob Zombie remakes will not be included in this article, for it doesn't follow the same storyline of Michael Myers from the original 1978 film that started it all.

So without further ado, I give you The Boogeyman Vs The Boogeyman!

Michael Myers

On Screen Kill Counts Per Movie:

Halloween (1978): 5

Halloween II: 10

Halloween III: Season of the Witch: N/A

Halloween IV: The Return of Michael Myers: 18

Halloween V: The Revenge of Michael Myers: 21

Halloween VI: The Curse of Michael Myers: 14

Halloween H20: 20 Years Later: 6

Halloween: Resurrection: 10

Halloween (2018): 16

Total On Screen Kill Counts:

According to the internet, Michael Myers has 121 kills to his name. I'm assuming that's counting ALL the movies that he was in, and not paying attention to the continuity of the timeline.

If we're going off of personal views, and excluding Rob Zombie's attempt in his remake, Michael Myers has 100 kills under his belt, or in this case… under his knife.

With the recent Halloween from 2018 rewriting the timeline, by making us forget those other unnecessary sequels, he has 21 kills total. I'm positive the body count will grow, once Halloween Kills (2021) and Halloween Ends (2022) are released. Then that would mean we would have to revise the list another time, especially since we will also get a John Wick Chapter 4(2022).

Skills and Weapons:

Large Kitchen Knife, Brute Strength, Piercing Rifle, Pitchfork Scythe, Rope, Axe, Hot Tub, Ice Skates, Hammer, Gate, Injection Needle

Drive:

Moral Compass

Injuries:

Coat hanger to the meck, Died in Halloween: H20, lost fingers

John Wick

On Screen Kill Counts Per Movie:

John Wick: 72

John Wick Chapter 2: 133

John Wick Chapter 3: Parabellum: 85

Total On Screen Kill Counts:

290

Skills and Weapons:

Gun Fu, Guns Lots of Guns, Katana, Pencil, Library Books, Axes,

Drive:

The death of his dog, Daisy; which was a gift to him that his wife(who passed away) gave to him.

Injuries:

Multiple body injuries, stab wounds, lost a ring finger

After punching all these numbers together; I have concluded that John Wick has the most kill counts than Michael Myers. Wick is weighing in at 290 kills, whereas Myers is at 121 kills, and that's including non-canonized films to date.

Myers has died once, Wick is still kicking… and punching.

Both have permanent hand injuries.

John Wick's drive is stronger, because he kills people associated with the death of his dog, of whom was a gift from his wife, who passed away. My theory is that the dog was named Daisy, because that was the name of the daughter that they were gonna have together, but the wife miscarried.

All Michael Myers has as a drive is killing horny teenagers, and random people who happen to be in his way.

In conclusion, The Boogeyman would live up to his name by being the one to kill The Boogeyman.

What do you think? Could John Wick kill Michael Myers? Let me know in the comments below! Also let me know what other fictional characters John Wick could go up against!
