Jason and Carly are becoming more confused on 'General Hospital'

On GENERAL HOSPITAL Carly Corinthos has been the one who has seemed to be blurring the lines in her relationship with Jason Morgan. She has dropped subtle hints that she may desire the marriage to be a real one and asked him as much in subtle ways. Last Friday when a confused Jason leaned in for a kiss it was Carly who pulled away. Increasing numbers of viewers are expressing their disgust at this storyline which everyone knows must come to an end.

It is not likely that when Mike remembers he is Sonny that he will choose Nina or that Jarly will really fall in love and consummate their marriage. What is more likely is that the ball of confusion will continue and lines will keep getting blurred. Britt Westbourne clearly is still in love with Jason and it had appeared that he returned her feelings. Now that he has attempted to kiss Carly this adds another layer to the situation.

A number of GENERAL HOSPITAL fans have been concerned that Carly and Jason might cross the line. Watching Stone Cold be sucked into Carly's web is a bit too much for some who enjoy the ABC. Jason is always the one who remains in control as he showed when he did what he thought was right and broke Britt's heart. Now he is like a confused, lovesick puppy and putty in Carly's hands.

A growing number of those who watch GENERAL HOSPITAL have been saying on social media that Jason needs to man up and not allow Carly to continue to control his life. The duo may now, however, be in too deep as a wedding date has been set and the heads of the five families have all been invited. At this point, the only thing to stop this farce of a wedding would be for Sonny to return to Port Charles but this has been complicated by Peter August's arrival in Nixon Falls.

Deep down Carly has not gotten over her husband and Jason still cars for Dr. Westbourne. The duo is attempting to make this marriage work in order to keep the five families from causing them trouble. Joey Novak has been crossing lines and does not seem to care about boundaries. If Sonny does not get back before the wedding takes place this will add to the problems. Michael knows and Jax suspects the wedding is a sham but everyone else believes Carly and Jason's feelings for each other surfaced after Sonny's death.

Once they say "I do" they will have to kiss and later go on a honeymoon. Many of those who watch GENERAL HOSPITAL are hoping things don't go that far and that Jason and Carly do not end up in bed with each other. Whether they do or not things have changed between them and Sonny will pick up on that once his memory returns. Viewers are saying they do not see how anyone involved can simply go back to business as usual once Mike learns his true identity.

Jason and Carly had been intimate decades ago but for many years now they have remained in the friend zone. Once Sonny is home he will also be dealing with the fact that as Mike he fell hard for Nina who was scamming him. There will be no one in this situation who will come out unscathed. Sonny will be angry at Nina for her deception and will have to accept the fact that Carly and Jason's marriage was not simply one of convenience because their feelings began to grow.

Jason has broken Britt's heart and she might never forgive him. He may also find it uncomfortable to be sonny's enforcer and continue to hang around Carly. The GENERAL HOSPITAL writers have opened a big can of worms with this storyline and everyone is wondering how much damage there will be once it is over? Josslyn will b crushed to find out the real reason for her mother deciding to marry her best friend.

Joss has been the number one supporter and will not like knowing she was lied to. Jax and Britt will be angry to find out exactly what was going on as will others in town. It may not b so simple as Sonny returning and everything working itself out so stay tuned because there are sure to be lots of fireworks surrounding this storyline on GENERAL HOSPITAL.
