Jason and Britt's true feelings emerging

Star-crossed or crossed out?

It is beginning to look as if the GENERAL HOSPITAL writers are going to allow Jason and Britt to become star-crossed lovers after the ending of Monday's episode. Numerous fans have shared across various social media platforms that they were moved by Dr. Westbourne crying in her mother's arms and Jason just outside the door looking distraught. Perhaps without Sonny in the picture, the man known as Stone Cold may begin reassessing his relationship with Carly. Some fans are hoping that Jason might soon be looking at things from an entirely different angle.

For Brason'Jabritt fans the bond between the two was noticed when Jason instinctively ran back into the GENERAL HOSPITAL and saved Britt from the two men who were trying to kill her. Everyone was wondering why he risked his life to save "The Britch" and later he asked Spinelli not to refer to her that way. It could be that after Sam gives him a piece of her mind on the subject that Jason might begin to put things in perspective and take notice of how strange his devotion to Carly really is.

Heartbreak Hotel

GENERAL HOSPITAL viewers can see that Jason is tormented and Britt is clearly heartbroken. A number of those who watch the ABC soap are also disgruntled because of the way Carly addressed Dr. Westbourne in such a cruel manner. All of these things may work together to lead Brason/JaBritt back to each other. The thing is that time is of the essence and if Jason does not move soon he may lose the woman he loves and never win her back.

The rumor mill suggests that Dr. Westbourne might be pregnant with yet another Quartermaine heir but pass the child off as belonging to Jax. This is a scenario that no one wants but GH viewers known the writers rarely listen to what the audience has to say. There is a bright note to this troubling situation which is the dynamic between Liesl and her daughter. It has been heartwarming to see the maternal side of Obrecht as well as the vulnerability of her daughter. Obrecht is distraught that her Britta is suffering from a life threatening illness as well as heartbreak.

Jason may evolve

If this can happen to the two women most hated in Port Charles it can certainly take place for Jason. Maurice Benard who portrays Sonny has said he is loving the role of Mike as it gives him something different to do after 28 years of being the mob boss. Jason began evolving into his Stone Cold persona after the car accident caused by his brother AJ left him brain damaged in December 1995. Surely it's time to see a different side of this man and Britta is the one who can bring it out of him.

Dr. Westbourne is clearly head over heels for Jason who has brought out a kinder and more gentle version of "The Britch." The look on his face on Monday indicates that he is tormented by hurting her. Jason needs to come clean and explain the entire situation to the woman he so clearly cares about. He needs to let her know that Carly's hurtful words were her own and did not represent how he feels. He absolutely has to let her know the real reason for the wedding and at the same time, Sonny must return to Port Charles and stop the nuptials.

The truth must be revealed

Britt is not going to be a side chick while Jason gives the world the appearance that he and Carly are in love. All the deception around this situation needs to be exposed and soon. Nina must face the music for not telling Mike that he is Sonny and Carly has to be put in her place by Jason and stay there. Sonny's return would shut everything down but it must be in the near future. If not Britt might continue sleeping with Jax and become so angry that she will no even hear Jason out as he attempts to explain what is really going on. Brason/Jabritt fans are absolutely counting on this to work out in favor of their ideal couple.
