Inception - Official Trailer [HD]

"Inception": If this is a movie you loved then "Limitless" and "Lucy" are my Hot Tips for what should be next in your lineup! With the “Unknown” as my Hot Tip Bonus Kicker today!

& If you have not seen Inception yet? Why all are a must-see!

The keys all hold in common: They all take you on one heck of a head- trip! Get ready for some mind blowing madness in each film! Yes, I love mind expanding movies, and love to be taken on the ride of what if’s? What if it is possible? All literal Mind-benders in this line up! They get that action packed adrenaline going too!

I love a great Film! The best are the ones that you wouldn’t mind watching again. Why would you not mind? Because these will give your brain so much to entertain!

So what do I look for in my Hot Tips? Picking movies that keep your mind and adrenaline going full speed. With casts of smart interesting characters that fall into the roles perfectly. Written in a way that one begins to question all possibilities! - that is where the genius lays in the writing! Make me question everything, please! Take me on that adventure with you! Exercise my foresight too! I may not figure out exactly were it’s headed, but I love to entertain that question on route, by following the clues. Yes! Do keep me on that edge wondering, what comes next?

Hot Tip #1 “Inception”: A 2010 science fiction action film written and directed by Christopher Nolan who also co-produced the film with his wife, producer, Emma Thomas. With a fabulous cast. I loved that they brought to life, on film, the dream within a dream capability.

The characters use experimental military technology to help achieve there lucid dreaming state, bringing it to a new and deeper level, enabling them to extract information from their targets in the dream world. However the character Cobb, played by Leonardo DiCaprio, needs to do the seemingly impossible brand new task of implanting an idea into a mind; instead of extracting an idea from the subconscious.

I revel in that the story is jam packed with a bit of everything, action, adventure, crime, drama, friendship and love. Truly a fantastic combination in all! While begging the question, what lengths would you go to in order to see your loved ones again?

After such a great movie; and I thought 2011 was a particularly good year for good movies in general, It seemed like a very long wait for:

Hot Tip #2 "Limitless": A 2011 science fiction thriller film directed by Neil Burger and written by Leslie Dixon. Based on the 2001 novel The Dark Fields by Alan Glynn. Picking a great cast of actors too!

The main character Eddie, is given a pill called NZT-48. On the drug, he has acquired perfect memory recall and can analyze things with amazing speed. Mind expanding at what cost? Of course the drug is not without it’s downfall. If you were in Eddie’s shoes what would you do? Changes in his life circumstance, due to aforementioned new ability, are most enthralling! Life or death choices can lead one to do interesting things, see for your self!:

Toe tapping for three years, until along came:

Hot Tip #3 “Lucy”: A 2014 French, science fiction action, film written and directed by Luc Besson and produced by his wife Virginie Besson-Silla for his company EuropaCorp. With a fantastic world class cast! I love how they took the myth of humans only using ten percent of their brains ability to figuratively and literally expand upon.

The main character Lucy becomes an unsuspecting drug mule. When it goes awry, Lucy begins to absorb the drug, changing her how? Or into what exactly? Acquiring enhanced physical and mental capabilities, such as telekinesis, telepathy, mental time travel and the ability to feel no pain. Would feeling no pain make you ruthless or emotionless? loosing the connection to what makes one human? I think this movie begs the question what does make one human after all? Imagine changing so fast in having all said abilities, while your clock was running out!

The Bonus is a bit different in how the brain is affected. While no super human powers were entertained, it is still a great mind-bender all the same!

Hot Tip Bonus Kicker today! Aired in 2011- yet I left the "Unknown" for last, as it is currently streaming on Netflix! It is an action thriller film based on the 2003 French Novel, Out of My Head, by Didier Van Cauwelaert. It was published in English and adapted for the screen by Oliver Butcher and Stephen Cornwell. Directed by Jaume Collet-Serra, produced by Joel Silver, Leonard Goldberg and Andrew Rona. With an all-star cast!

The Main character ,played by Liam Neeson, suffers a memory crisis and identity loss; twisted into a most fabulous plot. The thrilling ride to get to the bottom of it all is an epic journey you truly don’t want to miss out on!
