However, as this new sort of network continues to grow in popularity, more and more misconceptions about it are being created in the public's mind.

Globally, it is expected that there will be approximately 100 million Five-G customers by the year 2023. Five-G will not only deliver high-speed networks to mobile phones, but it will also enable a wide range of technologies, such as autonomous cars, drones, and the Internet of Things, to be implemented.

Having said that, Five-G will have a profound impact on the lives of many individuals all over the world. As a result, it is normal to have some queries regarding it. Some of these topics are answered in the online edition of Senate, a publication devoted to information technology.

Is it safe to use Five-G?

People believe that the radioactivity of Five-G radio waves can cause cancer in some instances. This is not an unreasonable concern. As stated in a 2011 research published by the World Health Organization, radiofrequency (RF) radiation from cell phones can cause cancer in the human body.

A study funded by the United States in 2016 discovered a relationship between radioactivity in radio waves and cancer in rats. Smartphones, such as the iPhone and Samsung Galaxy, have higher levels of radiation.

The association between smartphones and cancer, on the other hand, can be considered to be a little more complex. This is due to the fact that some radiation is disseminated via a variety of equipment used in everyday life. In the 2016 study, rats were used as subjects. It is not possible to cause so significant harm to the human body. However, it is not yet possible to tell with certainty whether this is the case.

What will happen to the existing phone when Five-G is implemented? In order to use the Five-G network, handsets that support Five-G will be necessary. The majority of today's cellphones are devoid of this feature. Some sources, on the other hand, claim that with the introduction of Five-G, it will be feasible to get higher speeds on the existing Four-G network. Aside from that, work is underway to establish a Five-G network, which will be based on the existing Four-G network. This means that even if the Five-G network is launched, you will still be able to use the Four-G network to conduct business.

According to a report by GSMA Intelligence, by 2025, five-gigabit mobile phone connections will account for 15% of all mobile phone connections in the world. It is expected that the percentage of people using the Four-G LTE network would climb from 43 percent in 2016 to 59 percent in 2017. Simply said, with the introduction of Five-G, the expansion of the Four-G network is not expected to come to an end anytime soon. Aside from that, folks who begin using Five-G will no longer be reliant on the four-G bandwidth they previously had. In other words, the speed of Four-G will continue to improve in the future.

Mobile World Congress 2018 demonstrated how a doctor may train a surgeon remotely by watching a video from a distance using a Five-G connection. Remote surgery and automated vehicles are two applications that will benefit from Five-G connectivity. However, it does not appear to be totally dependable at this time, at least not yet. Many also believe that the introduction of Five-G will not result in a paradigm shift in the healthcare industry. It is guaranteed, however, that the pace of video conferencing will grow in the future. It is also projected that the use of automatic vehicles would expand.

What can be done to improve the video quality on Netflix Video quality on other video-watching websites, including Netflix, is often HD or full-HD in resolution. The current speed is sufficient to detect it. Five-G, on the other hand, can be beneficial when gradually increasing the amount of 4K or higher definition video.

What will be the digital divide?

Five-G is expected to widen the digital divide in the near future. Despite the fact that the United States is ahead of the others, Four-GE, on the other hand, has not been fully launched in many nations around the world. One region has high-speed internet connection, while the rest is trapped on a Four-G or preceding generation network. This is especially true in rural areas. As a result, it is believed that the division may worsen even further.
