I love the Tinkerbell movies
I wish more were made
While cleaning out my garage, I came across some “Lost things”:
• Disney Fairies PVC Figures.
• Disney Tinkerbell pins.
• gameboard pieces
• And random Knick Knacks
I remember that Tinkerbell referred to human objects as lost things. And I started to think about the Disney films of Tinkerbell and the other fairies. Oh, how I loved those films.
I would purchase them on iTunes and watch them immediately, but after the movie of Tinkerbell and the great fairy rescue, a lot changed, and I felt we were leading another path, and I had some questions, such as
Peter pan was never shown or talked about.
- If you recall, in the 1953 film Peter pan, Tinker bell follows Peter Pan just like a shadow, and she has the biggest crush on the guy.
Could Lizzie be Peter pan’s birth mother or the baby from the first movie that laughed for the first time when Tinkerbell was born?
- Lizzie is the first human to be approached by Tinkerbell and interact with her. I would say it was Wendy from the first film, but she did not interact with Wendy. Tinkerbell returned the broken ballerina music box she fixed in neverland, which gave her passage to the mainland. Lizzie is also the first human to write a book about the world of fairies, well, thanks to the help of Tinkerbell, of course.
If winter fairies couldn’t cross over to the other seasons, why did they cross when Tinkerbell arrived in Pixie Hollow?
If you recall the film Tinkerbell and the secrets of the wings: We learn that Winter fairies stay in the winter woods because it is cold, and if a warm fairy crosses, their wings will break, and the same goes for winter fairies if they travel into the other seasons. This is where we learn about Periwinkle Tinkerbell’s sister, born from the same laugh.
Vidia, Terrance, and Queen Clarian are the only fairies from the books to be in the films.
Vidia is supposed to be rude, self-centered, and a loner,
but she starts hanging out with the other fairies after the film “Tinkerbell and the Great Fairy Rescue.” Vidia even hugs Tinkerbell, and she even starts to care for the other fairies.
The Pirate Fairy- This one stood out the most because of the introduction of three well-known characters, Captain Hook, Mr. Smee, and the crocodile that makes a tick-tock he is nearby. These characters come into the story through one fairy who wanted to find her true calling, but in pixie dust, her name was Zarina. She was a dust-keeper fairy. Zarina meets Captain Hook and his crew when they get lost and find Zarina, who ran away from Pixie Hollow because she broke the rule of tampering with Pixie dust.
Captain Hook is very young, I would say in his mid-thirties, and has both of his hands.
As for the Crocodile, it is Rosetta who finds the crocodile but from an egg. A Crocodile thinks Rosetta is his mom, and to be funny, how he gets his signature sound…he swallows an alarm clock when a pirate throws it at him.
I don’t know if any knows about the mid-credits because we see Mr. Smee meeting Captain Hook for the first time.
Of course, after seeing the films, I wondered when we would see Peter Pan. Sadly, we don’t. Because after the movie of Tinkerbell and the legend of the never beast. That is where it stopped, and no more Tinkerbell films were being made; the movie was good; I do recommend it because the protagonist is Fawn, an animal talent fairy, and she befriends a huge and mysterious creature known as the Never Beast, which she names Gruff, While Tinkerbell and her friends aren't so sure about this scary addition to Pixie Hollow, Fawn tries to show everyone including the scout fairies. That you can't judge a book by its cover --or an animal by its fangs—
Many fans felt like the Disney fairies' were going in a different direction and not following the steps on how and when Tinkerbell met Peter Pan.
But thankfully, there are many Disney Fairies Storybooks, and Peter Pan is in a few of the books.
So many differences the Disney books and films about fairies.
The fairies in the books aren’t in the films, but some fairies from the movie are in the books.
The one in charge isn’t Queen Clarian; it is Mother Dove, and there are other characters in the storybooks I highly recommend checking out. They may not be the films, but it is Disney.
