Hallmark Married Couples Who Act Together in Same Movies

Most Hallmark movies are about love and romance. It is not unusual for a leading actor to fall in love with his co-star. Magic happens when the leading actor is married to his co-star in real life. Is it art imitating life, or is it life imitating art? It really is both.

Let's identify five married couples and the movies they are in together.

Victor Webster and Shantel VanSanten

The couple on the top left is husband Victor Webster, 48, and his wife Shantel VanSanten, 36. They met in 2017 while filming Love Blossoms on the set of Hallmark. They started dating, and Victor proposed to Shantel on February 9, 2021. They got married in October 2021. That means they were not married when they acted together. Perhaps they will act together again now that they are married.

Shantel plays the part of Violet Chappel, the daughter of a perfumer who died without completing a formula for a new scent. Violet struggles to finish the product by the production deadline for the company's latest perfume. Victor who plays Declan Granger is a botanist with a keen sense of smell helps her discover what the missing ingredient is.

That was Shantel's only Hallmark movie. However, Victor has starred in 12 movies on the Hallmark Channel with other beautiful actresses.

Eric Winter and Roselyn Sánchez

Eric Winter and Roselyn Sánchez are pictured on the top right. Eric has appeared in four Hallmark movies. His wife, Roselyn has appeared in only one Hallmark movie, and that one was with Eric in A Taste of Summer in 2019.

Eric, 45, and Roselyn, 48, dated for two years before their engagement on January 1, 2008. The couple wed on November 29, 2008. Eric and Roselyn are parents to two children: a daughter, Sebella, born in January 2012, and a son, Dylan, born in November 2017.

Patti Murin and Colin Donnell

Patti Murin, 41, and Colin Donnell, 39, are pictured on the bottom left of the above picture. They both performed together in two Hallmark movies: Love on Iceland in 2020, and To Catch a Spy in 2021. Those are the only two of Colin's Hallmark movies. Patti has starred in four Hallmark movies.

The couple wed in 2015 long before they acted together in two Hallmark movies. They welcomed daughter Cecily Philips on July 14, 2020, the same year they acted in their first Hallmark movie together.

Carlos PenaVega and Alexa PenaVega

Carlos and Alexa PenaVega are pictured on the bottom right of the above picture. The couple married on January 4, 2014, the same year Alexa started her Hallmark career. Three years later she and Carlos starred together in Enchanted Christmas. Alexa, 33, has starred in 10 movies while Carlos, 32, has acted in six, and five of them were with his wife. The PenaVegas are co-stars in their own Hallmark Channel movie franchise, Picture Perfect Mysteries.

There is an interesting story about their last name. Alexa’s maiden name was Vega and Carlos’ last name was Pena. When they got married, they combined their names to include both of their last names. They are the proud parents of two sons, Ocean King PenaVega born on December 7, 2016, and Kingston James PenaVega born on June 30, 2019. They also have a daughter, Rio Rey PenaVega born on May 7, 2021.

Daniel Stine and Rachel Hendrix

Daniel Stine and Rachel Hendrix met in 2016 on the set of Hallmark's Virginia Minnesota. They starred alongside each other again in Hallmark’s Midway to Love in 2019, the same year they got married in May 2019. Those are the only two Hallmark movies they have appeared together in.

Hallmark Married Couples

It must be wonderful for married couples to act together in the same movies whenever they get the chance to do so. That way, they can study their scripts together. They can be together when they go places to promote their movies. An added bonus is that they get the same time off when the filming is over. Then they can go on a well-deserved vacation together to celebrate their accomplishment.
