Grayson Berry joins Days of Our Lives as Clint Rawlings the new Salem Mayor

Salem will have a new interim mayor

Days of Our Lives fans there is breaking news about a new cast member to the Peacock soap. Celeb Dirty Laundry reports that Grayson Berry will temporarily replace Abe Carver (James Reynolds) as interim major and cause trouble in Salem as Clint Rawlings on July 12. Abe has amnesia and has been abducted by Nurse Whitley King (Kim Coles) who spoilers say will soon be exposed. She will also be shown to be dealing with a history of mental health issues which would explain her bizarre behavior.

CDL says Rawlings will overhear a conversation between Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) and Shawn Brady (Brandon Beemer) and causes problems. for both men. The trouble begins when DA Melinda Trask (Tina Huang) wants Shawn fired for his excessive drinking but Rafe decides to only suspend him. Detective Brady will believe both Trask and Hernandez are making too much of the situation which will lead Shawn and Rafe to have a serious argument.

Shawn and Rafe may find themselves in serious trouble

Shawn may bring up Rafe's relationship with Jada Hunter (Elia Cantu) and viewers know they recently slept together which is against Salem PD policy. The temporary major might overhear that two of his officers had an inappropriate encounter and Shawn threatening to blow the whistle on Rafe and Jada. If this happens then he will have dirt on both Rafe and Shawn who would then be in danger of losing their jobs by the time this is straightened out.

There is a silver lining at the end of this saga which is that Abe will soon regain his memory and return to his loved ones and his job. Spoilers don't say how long Berry's character will be in Salem or what will happen to him once Abe takes over again as the major. Days of Our Lives viewers will be happy to see Mayor Carver back in action and Whitley get what is coming to her. Hopefully, Paulina Price (Jackee Harry) will have her day with Nurse Whitley and give her a piece of her mind. This will be a moment worth waiting for and must-see TV.

DOOL fans are distressed that Abe seems so clueless even with amnesia Somewhere inside of his brain his detective skills should kick in to help him considering he has worked in law enforcement and continues to fall for every lie Whitley tells him. Fans don't understand why he does not question anything that the nurse tells him and accepts her every lie,

There is not a lot known about Grayson Berry except he does not have any daytime credits. As an actor he is known for the following: How to Blow Up a Pipeline, Law & Order" Special Victims Unit, Vortex a Film Anthology, and as Rodney in Cobra Cai, according to his IMDb. Berry is 48 years old and was born in Houston Texas, on January 10, 1975. There is no information regarding whether he is dating, married or has any children.
