Genoa City women in peril on 'The Young and the Restless'

Four women in Genoa City will find themselves in unwanted situations in the coming weeks on THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS. Victori, Chelsea, Imani, and Mariah. A few of them might turn things around and come out on top but spoilers are not saying. Lets take a look at what may possibly take place.

Mariah

Mariah disappeared after saying she was going on a mysterious business trip. Considering that she is pregnant and carrying a baby for someone else, namely Abby, Ms. Copeland should have been a little more careful in her actions. Y&R viewers believe Stitch napped he rand has some type of ulterior motive. The question on everyone's minds is where are Ms. Copeland and her unborn child? Sharon is beginning to worry and Abby and Tessa will soon be at each other's throats over this mystery.

Mariah did not take her overnight bag and there is no way to know if she is taking care of herself or has access to her prenatal vitamins or eating healthy. Ben Rayburn is a doctor so if he has her he would be taking good care of her. The fact that she has not called her loved ones to let them know that she is OK is the biggest red flag that something is wrong.

Chelsea

Melissa Claire Egan will soon be on extended maternity leave but it has not been announced how long she will remain ofF screen on THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS. There are numerous rumors regarding her character Chelsea so fans will have to sit tight and see which ones turn into a reality. Spoilers suggested that Ms. Lawson was going to break out of Ferncliff but now it seems she is being released. On Monday she shows up at the coffee house and frightens Sharon but assures her that she is not an escapee.

Chelsea wants to leave Genoa City to visit her mother Anita who has broken her hip. Adam confirmed that Anita is hospitalized and Rey convinces him that Conner should go with his mom. Victor shows up and puts a stop to everything by saying Chelsea can go where she wants but his grandson remains in town. It's not yet clear whether or not Ms. Lawson is planning to run away with her son but this is what spoilers are predicting.

Chelsea is not yet stable and continues to fool those around her. Victor even warned Adam not to allow his emotions to overrule clear thinking. Chelsea will have to decide whether to obey Victor and leave her son behind or pull off her greatest con yet and skip town with Conner in tow. Since Melissa Claire Egan is returning after her extended leave it's likely Chelsea is not planning to disappear with her son but you never know.

Imani

Amanda's sister seems to have settled into life in Genoa City and planning to stick around for a while. She has set her sights on Dr. Hastings and does not care that he is dating Elena. She has popped up at times and insinuated herself into situations without caring that she is a 5th wheel. Soon Imani will interrupt a date night between the two physicians and probably play it off as if it is innocent.

Elena has had a hard time going back and forth between Devon and Nate and trying to sort it all out. Now she has to deal with this interloper and the fur is probably going t0 be flying pretty soon. Imani could find herself run out of town if she does not slow herself down and not be so obvious of her intentions.

Victoria

Victor and Nikki are worried about their daughter and her relationship with Ashton Locke. Y&R viewers are wondering if he is using Victoria as a means to an end. Ashton had a meltdown in Chancellor Park on Monday when he struggled to breathe while arguing with Tara. Sally Spectr was filming Harrison playing and Tara sent herself a copy of the video. She will later leak it to the press and cause more problems for her husband.

Victoria is in the middle because she has both a business as well as a romantic interest in Locke. Vicki is hoping the merger between their two companies will be finalized but spoilers tease that things may not be what they seem. Vicki is at a crossroads where she could build up her father's company or destroy it and at this point, it's not clear what will happen.

Will Imani sabotage Nate and Elena's relationship and damage her bond with Amanda? Is Victoria walking into a trap where Ashland is concerned or will she come out of this situation victorious? Is Mariah OK and will she surface before her baby is born? did Stitch kidnap her and if so what is his ultimate goal. Will Chelsea skip town with Conner or is she really trying to live a better life?
