The fallout continues regarding the pairing of Jason and Carly as increasing numbers of GENERAL HOSPITAL viewers say they are disgusted when watching this duo together. For years fans admired the strong bond between Jarly and their committment to one another. Now that they are planning a wedding an increasing number of viewers are saying they are disgruntled. Jason giving Carly an engagement ring was a real turn off for many viewers and the consensus is that this storyline should be nipped in the bud.

Maurice Benard has asked GENERAL HOSPITAL fans that be patient but every scene with Jatly is rubbing viewers the wrong way. Those who watch the show had gotten used to the dynamic between Sonny’s wife and his enforcer but now it feels as if they have crossed a line. The simple idea of these two together is rubbing so many people the wrong way and everyone wants it to end. Some fans say it’s only a temporary storyline and to just ride it out. Others believe the writers need to know how many viewers they turned of by putting aJadon and Carly in this predicament.

There are also fans who point out that there are no happy couples in Port Charles and who wish GENERAL HOSPITAL were more balanced. Cameron and Josslyn seem to be falling in love but no one is holding out hope that it will last. Britt sleeping with Jax is also a sore spot for many who watch the CBS soap. On social media as well as the comment section of spoilers, fans are making their position clear. One individual asked the question “ Does anybody like seeing Jason and Carly together”? The answer was 100% No!

This is a situation where viewers are pondering what the writers were thinking? Had Maurice Bennard left GENERAL HOSPITAL and Carly and Jason simply gravitated towards each other over time perhaps this could have been more believable. Instead, Jarly come up with the idea to wed to fool the five mob families while viewers know Sonny is still alive. One issue that troubles fans is that this situation changes the Jarly friendship. Previously viewers understood that the two were close but had boundaries. Sonny was OK with the friendship and it worked.

One GENERAL HOSPITAL fan said that it felt creepy to watch Jason offer Carly an engagement ring and to see her hanging all over him. One bright spot in all of this for many viewers was the reactions from Sam and Liz. The two women said out loud what many Port Charles resident had been thinking. Carly wanted to have her cake and eat it too. It looks like she enjoyed her life with Sonny while interfering in every relationship Jason ever had. This goes back to Robin, and Courtney, Liz and Sam and now Britt.

All of these women have been eclipsed by Carly while they were married to Jason and now she gets to have him all to herself. This is the viewpoint from Port Charles and it led to Jax sleeping with Britt. When this plot unravels it will be mass chaos for everyone . Even if Sonny regains his memory and reunites with his wife, Jason may have ruined his chances with Britt. Spoilers are suggesting that she might be carrying his baby but will pass it off as belonging to Jax. Whether that happens or not many GENERAL HOSPITAL viewers have been shell shocked by Carly and Jason and will not get over it for quite some time.
