General Hospital viewers are more than ready for Sonny’s amnesia storyline to come to an end, On various social media forums, the consensus from fans is that Sonny needs to come home. Spoilers indicate that this will not be anytime soon as a lot of drama will soon unfold in Nixon Falls. Jax will be shot as he is chasing Nina and get a glimpse of Sonny prior to being taken to the hospital. Nina will convince him it was a hallucination. Later when Sonny/Mike tries to see Jax, Nina is going to do everything she can to keep him away.

The people back in Genoa City have no idea that Sonny is alive or that Nina knows about it. When I consider all they are going through I think of the song Snoopy Come home only I've changed the lyrics. In spirit Carly and associates as well as loyal viewers are chanting:

Sonny, Why, oh why, did you roam?

Come home! Come home!

Sonny, Sonny, Come home Sonny Come home

Sonny, Sonny, Where d'you run away to?

Come home! Come home!

Sonny, Sonny

Everything's wrong without you.

On Facebook groups and other Social Media outlets, General Hospital viewers are blasting the writers for continuing the action in Nixon Falls for way t0o long. This storyline needs to wrap up because Sonny is needed in Port Charles. Jason is in jail, Cyrus is wreaking havoc and Carly is now in charge. It had never been made clear to viewers just how much she knew about running her husband's business but obviously, she knows enough to make decisions and keep things going. Viewers know that Carly leaps before looking and will make a mess of everything.

Jason now has Shawn Butler as a cellmate in Pentonville but they cannot do but so much from behind bars. General Hospital fans do not like storylines that bring in new characters from other towns and now they have Lenny, Phyllis, and Elijah. One viewer even suggested that Phyllis and Lenny move to Port Charles. The common denominator among those who watch GH is that Sonny needs to figure out who he is and go home. Things really are not the same without him and everyone wants him to leave Canoga Falls, excuse me Nixon Falls right away. For those who did not get the joke, Canoga Falls was a fictional town on the Carol Burnette show skit about a soap opera called As the Stomach Turns.

Jax being shot gives a false hope that Nina's deception will soon be discovered but this is not the case. General Hospital fans cannot figure out the purpose of having Sonny gone away from his family for so long. Now that Carly has released Gladys, everyone's eyes will be on Cyrus. Will he try to destroy Port Charles and take over or will his new relationship with his sister Laura bring out a kinder gentler side to Mr. Renault? In the meantime Sonny's family members are having to go on with life and figure it out without him in the picture.

Michael and Willow reconnected but are pretending that there is nothing between them because Chase has been poisoned. Dante is still trying to find his way in Port Charles without Lulu and supporting Olivia whose heart was broken when Ned cheated with Alexis. Kristina is worried about her mother being in Pentonville and no one even knows who is watching little Donna while the adults in her life are falling apart. Now in addition to Carly mourning Sonny, and being concerned about Jason in jail, she will have the added burden of Jax being shot. Sonny Corinthos won't you please come home!
