General Hospital: Controversy surrounds the ABC soap

Nancy Lee Grahn who portrays Alexis Davis on General Hospital has been outspoken concerning several situations associated with the show. She has so angered a number of the fans of the ABC daytime drama that they are calling for her to be fired. The same was done with Ingo Rademacher (Jasper Jacks) after he tweeted a controversial image that was considered to be against the transgender population. Cassadndra James who plays Dr, Terry Randolph on GH blasted Rademacher about being insensative without naming him. Everyone knew who she was referring to and some fans agreed with her but no one has attacked James for her stance.

Radmacher was recently let go but not for his tweet. He and Steve Burton (Jason Morgan) both were fired from the ABC soap because they did not want to follow COVID regulations set forth by Disney and ABC. When Caroline Hennessey who portrays Diane Miller commented on Burton leaving the show Grahn's response angered General Hospital fans. Hennessey said: “Politics absolutely aside from anything (because it’s not about that at the moment, it’s about loss,) he’s a kind, smart, funny, caring human who always made me feel terrific as an actor and friend.”

Nacy Lee Grahn is attacked for speaking her truth

Grahn went on a rant about all the lives (5.6 million) in America that have been lost due to COVID. General Hospital fans are saying that Grahan is too outspoken and are hoping she will lose her job, Social media platforms and comments sections on soap spoilers are filled with comments from irate viewers who want Grahn gone.

There has been a lot of drama with General Hospital since COVID began in 2020. There was a rumor that two female cast members were diagnosed with the coronavirus but they were never named. Not long after this Kelly Monaco who portrays Same McCall passed out on the set and the rumor mill said she had COVID when she was quarantined for 2 weeks. Monaco's mother went on social media to tell her daughter's fans that she was overcome by the heat from the lights and wearing a mask on the set. She also said that Kelly is claustrophobic.

General Hospital: Turmoil behind the scenes

Chad Duell who portrays Michael Corinthos announced a few months back that the cast and crew of General Hospital was taking a break from taping. He said the long hours of taping were taking a toll on the cast. Next, Kelly Thiebaud who portrays Britt Westbourne said she had a false positive from a COVID test and a second one was negative. Even so she had to remain off the show for 14 days. Steve Burton announced that he had COVID and that he was infected on the General Hospital set. Both Burton and Rademacher are said to have refused to be vaccinated which is now a requirement. Ingo has not said anything except that he was leaving but Burton said he hoped to be back on General Hospital some day because he loved playing Jason. he added that he did not get the vaccine for medical and religious reasons.

Nancy Lee Grahn seems to be angry that Burton did not take the vaccine and implies that people could die because her castmate is not vaccinated. Everyone has a right to their opinion but now thanks to the Internet soap fans can unite for or against a daytime actor. General Hospital fans circulated a petition in 2020 to have the actress fired after Grahn spoke out regarding actor John Callahan who died last March. She accused him of sexual harassment of several women and fans said her commens were unfounded and insensitive because the former GH actor hda just passed away. Be on the lookout for updates related to Nacy Lee Grahn, Alexis and Geneal Hospital.
