So, friends, Sonyliv has come with its new show, Family Aaj Kal. Is this show fun or not? Let's find out.

In Family Aaj Kal, we get to see the story of a family in which a girl tells her parents that she is in love with a cap driver. What consequences will be seen within the family? To know, you will have to watch this show, which has come on the Sonyliv platform and has five episodes, each lasting 25 minutes.

Family Aaj Kal Review

Now, if I want to give my review of this show in one line, then I would just say that it's a decent show. Look, the show has been successful in delivering the expectations of a family kind of show.

I watched 'Family Aaj Kal' because it seemed to have a vibe similar to TVF shows, and that's what I got from it, just like I expected after watching the trailer.

First of all, the story is quite simple, sweet, or innocent and keeps its focus on the family topic. The best thing I liked is that there are no meaningless subplots in it. The story progresses in a very straightforward way, and the show is not prolonged by showing off-track things.

Emotions are very important in a family drama, and again, I feel good in saying that care has been taken here that nothing goes over the top; everything remains completely grounded and very close to reality, so in that respect, the family drama was working completely well.

In terms of production, this show is simple; there is not much to tell; the music of the show impressed me; and you will get to hear some good songs. Dialogues are also not over-the-top.

When it comes to acting, Apoorva Arora shines as the lead in the show, portraying her role impressively. Nitesh Pandey effectively plays her father role, delivering a commendable performance. Overall, the whole cast delivers strong acting throughout the show.

Drawbacks

The biggest issue with this show is the romance between the main character and a cab driver. It's hard to believe that a girl working for a big company would choose a cab driver as her boyfriend. Nowadays, it's common for girls earning a good salary to chase a partner who earns as much or more than them and aims for a stable future together.

Now, no matter how much you tell me that it is not so, friend, this is the harsh reality in 90 percent of cases. I mean, if the girl was still studying or she was looking for a job, then it would be a different matter, but here the girl has worked for an MNC. Even after that, she fell in love with a cap driver. It is difficult to digest. Well, if you can digest this, that's great, but personally, I found it illogical and hard to accept.

Yes, the good thing is that the story is completely concluded in season 1, so you will not have to wait for season 2.

One more thing: the emotional scenes are not very heavy; I mean, there is no scene that will make your eyes moist, but overall, if you want to watch something for time-pass purposes, then Family Aaj Kal is that show, and you will not get disappointment anywhere.

Conclusion

Family Aaj Kal is a pure family drama show, so nudity, adult scenes, bad language—all of this has not been carried out, so you can watch this show with your family also.

So I just hope you have enjoyed this review. If yes, then please support me by liking or subscribing so that I can continue creating such content in the future.
