This Swedish beauty has had the Hollywood path to stardom pass before her eyes, and she's been chasing it for the last 3 years. She's now on a path to having her name be known in circles outside of the Sweden. Alicia Vikander is a name to watch as she slowly but surely hits it big over the next few years.

She's been a Russian aristocrat in Anna Karenina.

The wife of Wikileaks co-founder, Daniel Domscheit-Berg, in The Fifth Estate.

A good witch in The Seventh Son.

A reluctant criminal in Son of a Gun.

And, most recently, a humanoid robot in Ex Machina.

Through all of these roles and several other fantastic roles in Swedish films, Alicia has carved out a solid collection of characters to build from, allowing her to make her way into films like Guy Ritchie's upcoming The Man From U.N.C.L.E. as well as the upcoming Paul Greengrass film Bourne 5. Alicia is getting noticed by all the right people for all the right reasons.

The fifth Bourne film is set to return to its roots in a sense, as Matt Damon will reprise his role as the titular Jason Bourne and will also see the return of Nicky portrayed by Julia Stiles. Little is known about the plot, but we can assume it will focus on Bourne coming into conflict with a new villain (rumored to be Viggo Mortensen) as he struggles with life after Treadstone. Aaron Cross will ideally have his own sequel in the Bourne Universe, depending on the reception of Matt Damon returning to the role of the memory-impaired secret agent.

Ultimately, who knows what we will see, and all I know is that I'm looking forward to seeing Alicia grace the big screen in my all-time favorite franchise.
