A number of viewers of the CBS soap THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS are up in arms about the character that is portrayed by Elizabeth Leiner. The actress plays Tara Locke a married woman who had an affair with Kyle Abbott 3 years ago thatallegrdly produced a son. Many fans said from the beginning that Tara was evil and up to no good. These viewers have been proven right thus far. There are a lot of layers to this new w0oman in Genoa City and no one is giving her the benefit of the doubt except Kyle and his father Jack.

Elizabeth Leiner is somewhat of a mystery just like her character on THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS. What is known about her is that in 2017 she protrayed the granddaughter of Burt Reynolds character in the movie HAMILTON & HUTCH. The actress shared on Instagram that, working with Renoylds was her dream. She also had lead roles in the LIFETIME films NANNY KILLER and SUBURBAN SWINGERS CLUB.

Leiner is educated and has Masters degrees in Literature and Social Work. She is into softball, kickboxing, Pilates, swimming, hot yoga, and tennis. She also sings and plays piano. THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS is the first time the actress has worked in daytime television. She joined the Y&R cast as Tara Locke on March 1, 2021 and it's not known how long she will remain on the soap.

Overwhelmingly those who watch THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLES do ot like the character of Tara Locke and want her out of Genoa City, yesterday. Tara has used her little boy Harrison to drive a wedge between Summer and Kyle and run Ms. Newman out of town. With the help of Sally Spectra Summer was offered a job in Milan, Italy, just after Tara threatned to keep Harrison away from Kyle if Summer did not back off.

The soon to be ex Mrs. Locke comes across as a gold digger who is deetermined to snag a rich man to take care of her. With the departures of Hunter King and Michael Mealor coming soon the consensus is that Tara might be on her way out of Genoa City. Tara is planning to seduce Kyle in order to secure her position in the Abbott family and is not in love with him. Some viewrs suggest that perhaps she slept with Theo Vanderway and that her son belongs to him.

Those who watch THE YOUNG AND THE RESTyare wondering how Theo and Kyle just happened to run into each other and Tara decided to tell him Kyle is her baby daddy. The backstory on this woman is not clear but initially when Kyle asked her about Harrison she did not seem interested in a relationship with his alleged dad. She told Kyle to leave well enough alone and allow her son to grow up with the man who had been raising him.

Suddenly Tara shows up in Genoa City with Harrison in tow trying to hide from her husband who is called the Lockeness monster. Ashland Locke follows his wife and initially is gruff and verbally abusive but his bark has toned down considerably now that he is allegedly dying from cancer. She got rid of Summer and now seems to be trying to kick her husband while he is down.

At this point, Tara is fooling Jack and Kyle who believe she is a great mom. She betrayed Sally Spectra by not deleting the video footage of Ashland dealing with breathing issues and shouting. She sent the footage to news outlets and is trying to use it to gain sole custody of Harrison. Most importantly Tara and Sally will soon have to account for what they did to Summer. Billy and )Phyllis suspect them and all of their dirty dealings will have to come to light by the time Michael Mealor leaves THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS so stay tuned.
