WARNING: SPOILERS for WandaVision episode 6, 'All-New Halloween Spooktacular!'

Ever since the series very first teaser, fans have been eagerly awaiting the promised Halloween themed episode of WandaVision. It finally arrived with episode six, 'All-New Halloween Spooktacular!'

Still dealing with the fall out from 'On A Very Special Episode..', Wanda attempts to give the twins a fun first Halloween. Her efforts are complicated by the arrival of her formerly dead brother, and S.W.O.R.D closing in.

Here are all the Easter eggs and important moments from WandaVision episode six.

Malcolm In The Middle

As fans are now well aware, every episode of WandaVision, aside from episode 4, 'We Interrupt This Program', takes inspiration from a popular sitcom. 'All-New Halloween Spooktacular' jumps ahead to the late 90s-early 2000s era of TV, homaging Malcom In The Middle.

This is seen in the style of the episode's intro, and then in the scenes where one of the children, most often Billy, breaks the fourth wall to speak to the camera.

Comic-Accurate costumes

For long term Marvel Buffs, one of the most exciting parts of this episode was seeing the characters in comic accurate outfits as their Halloween costumes. Wanda explains her outfit by claiming to be dressed as a Sokovian Fortune Teller, while Vision's is explained as Wanda having a secret liking for Mexican wrestlers.

Billy also wears a costume resembling that of his future hero identity, Wiccan.

The recast Pietro wears a comic-accurate Quicksilver costume, while Tommy wears a miniature version of the Quicksilver costume rather than his comic accurate outfit. This makes sense plot wise, with Tommy beginning to idolise Pietro.

Wanda is suspicious of 'Pietro', with good reason

Despite welcoming him at the conclusion of the last episode, Wanda is clearly somewhat wary of the new Pietro. His memories don't quite match Wanda's own, and he often deflects any questions she tries to ask rather than answering them. Nor can he explain his new appearance, or lack of accent. Pietro claims to remember being shot, then nothing until Wanda's voice calling him.

While Wanda warms to him later in the episode, 'Pietro' ultimately appears to prove her suspicions correct when he dismisses Billy's concern for Vision.

"It's not like your dead husband can die twice."

At this point, Wanda blasts him. If the last thing he remembered was being shot, he shouldn't have known about Vision's death. This adds to the theory that the new Pietro is an impostor, possibly a villain.

Monica, Jimmy, and Darcy discover Hayward is tracking Vision

Speaking out against Hayward after his attempt to kill Wanda in 'On A Very Special Episode..', Monica is removed from the mission, along with Darcy and Jimmy. The three escape and make it into a vacant monitoring station, where Darcy hacks into Hayward's secret files.

To their surprise, the trio discover that Hayward has information about Westview that he hasn't shared, and also that he is tracking Vision. This adds weight to the theory that Hayward had authorised experiments on Vision's body before Wanda took him.

Going through the Hex has rewritten Monica's cells

Hoping to help Wanda before Hayward makes another attempt on her life, Monica contacts an astro-engineer friend who has hopefully created a mobile fallout shelter with which she can safely re-enter Westview. Darcy, finding Monica's bloodwork in Hayward's files, points out that this could be a bad idea.

Apparently, going through the barrier has altered Monica's cells on a molecular level. Fans have wondered if this may be the MCU's way of giving Monica her powers, or, on a larger scale, introducing mutants to the MCU.

Vision wakes Agnes

Vision spends most of 'All-New Halloween Spooktacular!' undertaking his own investigations as to the goings on in Westview. Notably, he discovers that those outside Wanda's sphere of influence are frozen, almost in suspended animation.. All except Agnes, stuck in her car near the edge of town. Unlike the others, Agnes is still able to speak to Vision.

After waking Agnes from mind-control, Vision reveals his plan to seek help outside Westview. Fans have wondered how Agnes retained her ability to speak when the other residents became frozen, speculating that she may possess some power of her own.

Yo-Magic!

Stop-motion animation advertisements, particularly for products aimed at children, were big in the 90s. This was reflected in this episode's commercial, for Yo-Magic!. In the unsettling ad, a boy starves to death on an island after being unable to open a Yo-Magic tub.

"Yo-Magic! The snack for Survivors!"

Some fans believe the commercial is a reference to Wanda's imprisonment in the raft during Civil War, during which she could not use her powers. Others believe it is an unpleasant prediction of what could happen to those frozen on the outer edges of Westview.

The Twins develop powers

Fans of Marvel comics will know that Tommy and Billy are destined to become the heroes Wiccan and Speed, members of the Young Avengers. In 'All-New Halloween Spectacular', we see the twins use their powers for the first time. Tommy gains the power of super-speed, which he mostly uses to get Halloween candy faster. Then, in one of the episode's most important moments, Billy develops telepathy, locating Vision when he is in danger.

The twins gaining powers is another important step to the Young Avengers coming to the MCU.

Vision attempts to leave the Hex

Desparate to help free the people of Westview, Vision attempts to exit the Hex, begging Hayward and the other S.W.O.R.D agents to help Westview. However, as he exits the barrier, his body begins to crumble. Hayward simply watches, ignoring Vision's request for help, as well as Darcy's desparate pleas that someone help Vision before he falls apart completely.

This seemingly adds to the idea that Vision cannot survive outside Westview. And, interestingly, Hayward was tracking Vision with a signal from decaying Vibranium. In the comics, Vibranium is considered mostly indestructible unless the vibrational energy within it is drained completely. So, this could, again, add to the theory that Vision's body had been experimented on before Wanda retrieved him.

Wanda expands The Hex

With Vision's life in danger once again, Wanda finds herself forced to take drastic action. She expands the size of the Hex, bringing Vision back to safety within it's borders. She also engulfs the vast majority of S.W.O.R.D Agents outside, transforming them into a circus.

Darcy, having been cuffed and left behind by S.W.O.R.D, is also consumed by the Hex. However, fans are already speculating that she may be rescued by Vision in the next episode.

According to nearly everyone involved with the show, the final three episodes are where everything really blows up. We're in for a wild ride as WandaVision races to the finish.
