Is Esme staying in Port Charles or being written out

General Hospital fans are wondering what the fate of Esme Prince (Avery Kristan Pohl) will be now that everyone knows her memories are back. She hit her uncle Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom) in the head and knocked him unconscious. He is in GH and hopefully will recover with no problem. Laura Collins is distraught because she gave Ms. Prince the benefit of the doubt because of little Ace Cassadine (Jay and Joey Clay)

The assault on Kevin adds to the list of crimes Ms. Prince is accused of and General Hospital fans are wondering what her ultimate fate will be. General Hospital Blog reported that Pohl has signed a new 3-year contract but is this true?

Is this another John McCook situation?

Soap fans will recall that several spoilers reported that John McCook (Eric Forrester) had inked a deal for an additional 3 years on The Bold and the Beautiful but it was not true. Several online outlets carried the story but it was a reprint of a story from 2017.

McCook's character survived and is now recovering and he may indeed have signed a new contract but the one that was reported was not accurate. Soap fans can always learn a lesson from what happened on The Bold and the Beautiful.

Eric said he did not want to live and was ready to die. He had a tearful farewell with his family and flashbacks from his past. He even went to the light and all indications were that at his age of 79 McCook might be tired after 37 years of portraying Eric. Everything seemed headed in the direction of McCook's character dying but he lived.

The walls are closing in on Esme

Esme is now a fugitive who has gone across the pond in search of her nanny Maggie. Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zampragna) is on the case and he and Detective Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) are determined to bring her in. Spoilers tease that Esme is actually headed to Paris for a showdown with Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chaves) and Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali).

On Friday Trina told Spencer to return to Port Charles to be with his family so he might be gone when Esme shows up. There is also a chance that Dante and Chase could figure out Esme's plan and head to Paris. All of this sounds like Ms. Prince's reign of terror may be coming to an end which does not give the impression she will be around for another 3 years.

Esme could be hurt or killed in Paris during an altercation and if she is arrested it's not likely she will get out of jail unless like Heather she finds a way to escape.

Is this the end for Esme?

Once arrested she will not get bail because Esme is a flight risk. No one knows if Nikolas Cassadine (Adam Huss) will return with Ace so the walls are closing in. Heather Webber (Alley Mills) broke her daughter's confidence and snitched to Laura because she wanted the two of them to have jail cells near each other. Once Esme finds this out she will flip because Spencer betrayed her by giving Ace to Nikolas and a betrayal by Heather will be too much.

If somehow she beats the charges against her what would she do in Port Charles? Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) probably will not hire her back so she will have no job and no means of support. Esme does not have one true friend so her life there is over. Did Avery Kristan Pohl sign a new 3-year contract? Anything is possible but the current circumstances don't make it likely.
