Dead to Me - Another Interesting TV Show on Netflix
Binge-watch Dead to Me on Netflix
I have enjoyed watching Dead to Me on Netflix.
I have watched 2 seasons of Dead to Me. It's an enjoyable tv show and very entertaining. It pulled me in right from the start so I binged watched this show like crazy.
If you enjoy a thriller as well as some comedy then watch this one. It stars Christina Applegate, Linda Cardellini, Natalie Morales, and James Marsden (from Westworld).
The story
Jen's (played by Christina Applegate) husband recently died in a hit-and-run. Jen is determined to solve the crime. She wants to catch the driver who did it so she can get justice for her husband's death but things don't go to plan. She meets free spirit and optimistic Judy who has also suffered a tragic loss. They meet at a support group and start to bond over drinking bottles of wine in Jen's garden. Of course, Judy has a secret that she doesn't want to share with Jen and so, she struggles to keep her secret as she gets closer to Jen and her two sons. As time passes, we meet Steve (played by James Marsden). He was once Judy's fiance. Things get serious when the dark comedy steps in when Judy and Steve's secret is revealed to viewers but not to Jen.
I found Dead to Me a very exciting tv show to watch. Season 2 is even more thrilling and very binge-worthy. If you need something to watch, then I encourage you to watch this show.
The relationship between Jen and Judy is fruitful and hilarious at times. The two women try to get on with their lives after losing people they loved and so they get through it together. I have seen this sort of friendship between two friends throughout my life with other people but I have a kind of relationship like that with one of my best friends. So, watching this show makes it real when it comes to true life friendship similar to Jen and Judy. You will know what I mean when you have got through the first season and you are watching the second season.
The fact that their friendship can last even though there were mishaps along the way makes it a stronghold friendship. There are friendships like that out there or at least, I hope there are. Although, I know that I have a friend who I feel is like that with myself. We have been good friends for 32 years which is a very long time. Our friendship started in 1987. I can’t believe we have been friends for that many years.
I recommend Dead to Me on Netflix without a doubt. From a female perspective, I think this show will appeal to a lot of women out there. It's the sort of show that will keep you watching right until the end and you won't regret watching it either. Trust me. If I enjoyed it then many other women will too. So, don't waste time. Get comfy and enjoy this show like I did because you won't regret it. Start binge-watching Dead to Me today. Its heartiness and comedy along with it being thrilling and exciting will hook you until you have finished watching two seasons.
