The 5 part crossover that everyone was waiting for.

The CW 5-part crossover that aired over Christmas and new year ,was something that the fans of all 5 shows have been waiting for. Not alone was The Flash, Arrow, Batwoman, Supergirl and DC Legends of tomorrow,; but we also had an appearance form superman form Smallview(Tom Welling), Lucifer (Tom Ellis), DC film the Flash (Ezra Miller)and the last special guest was Black Lighting (Cress Williams). Even through some of these special guest start were only in the episodes for a few minutes, some fan were shocked to see them in them at all.

I am going to go through some of the best parts of this crossover, and yes if haven`t yet seen the then there are going to be many spoilers ahead so just be care full. The first point I want to talk about is harbinger and how she rallies everyone together on Earth 38. She explains he the red sky has that has not only affective her earth but every earth in the multiverse, and how the hero’s must stop the anti-monitor. Other than is the hero`s find out that the anti-monitor has got her work for her so, he knows how the heroes are going to try and stop him.

I also want to discuss on how Arrow (Stephen Amell) single-handily tries to stop the crisis but dies in the process. Not only does Arrow dies but Mia (Kat McNamara), Barry (Grant Gustin), Jon (David Ramsey)and Constantine (Matt Ryan) try and bring Arrow back to life using the Lazarus pit, but they realised that this only brings his body back not his sole. This is when the group go and see Lucifer on Earth 666 to see if he can help. Lucifer gives a card that means that the group can go to heal and retrieve his soul. Before they are able to Oliver goes through a transformation that turns him into spectre, and this is how the help the team out to a build a new world.

The next thing I to discuss in how Barry start how started the DCTV universe started their version of the Justice League. I love the way the that he started in by having Kara (Melissa Benoist), Sara (Caity Lotz) and Barry saying a few words on how Oliver had helped them. By their side was Black lightning, Superman (Tyler Hoechlin), Batwoman (Ruby Rose) and J`onn Jonzz (David Harewood) ready to honour Oliver in the only way heroes should. Then Barry decides to show the team what he has put together in case the world is in danger once more. Barry shows the team the table that he has put together, with the symbols that represent each charater, this includes Arrow as he is the one who starred it all. This is when it is revealed the another a monkey called “Gleek” has escape in the bunker.

The relationship I want to talk about next is how Barry and Sara`s relationship progress and how it changed because of the death of Oliver. After they defeat Beboo Barry finds Sara sitting on a set of stairs remising about times with her sister, and how so much as changed since this time and how much she has gone through in her life. Barry consoles her but telling her that even without Oliver in her life, the world she lives in is safe once again. Sara tells Barry that Oliver was the last person connecting her to her old life, and how Oliver knew Sara as just Sara and not the Captain of a time machine. Barry explains to Sarah that he knows how she feels as he has lost family and that it feel like life will never be the same, even if Oliver isn`t around to help them anymore, he also says the family is also people who you find and the people who make you smile. Barry and Sara come closers together in the crossover and how they have become over of the leaders of the group of hero’s as they have been fought to protect the earth longer than any of the others.
