DC Universe
Welcome to the digital DC Universe.
The Flash Season 4 Predictions
The wait for The Flash's Season 4 is a drag. It's slow, tedious and boring. Yeah now we have Game of Thrones, Wonder Woman is still in cinemas, but... I miss our scarlet speedster.

After seeing the first Wonder Woman film, I can definitely say that it is a palatable one. It’s likeable. Relatable, sure. And that’s exactly the problem.
Amal MatanPublished 7 years ago in GeeksMCU vs. DCEU: Why DC Movies Are More Important Than Marvel Movies
Nine years and 15 movies into the Marvel Cinematic Universe, DC Films have sought to cash in on this idea. So far they have released four movies in an effort to move forward with their own ideas of a shared universe. To say they’ve gotten off to a rocky start would be an understatement, and comparing them to Marvel Studios only highlights this claim. Specifically, all but the most recent film in the DC Extended Universe have garnered harsh criticism from both fans and critics, while Marvel, who’ve earned criticism as well, have been accepted as the studio putting out great movies. Despite the flak, however, DC Films has already made more money with their first four films than Marvel Studios made with their first five. This is with Wonder Woman still in theaters.

Loni BeachPublished 7 years ago in GeeksThe DC Extended Universe Movies Have Been (Mostly) Fine
With the recent release of Wonder Woman, it appears as if the public as a whole is warming up to the DC Extended Universe. Here we have a film that has not only embraced and beautifully demonstrated an empowering female character, but it has also seemingly started a restoration; it is the first movie so far in the DCEU that is critically acclaimed while also creating a sense of awe, and more importantly intrigue, in the minds of the consumers. The financial success has always been there for them, but that's always been despite the reviews, not because of them. The creative individuals behind Man of Steel, Batman v Superman and Suicide Squad have just not been able to get the momentum going.
Tyler SeligPublished 7 years ago in GeeksWonder Woman Was A Success, But What's Next For DC?
Wonder Woman opened this past weekend with a weekend gross of $103 Million and a worldwide gross of $228 Million. The first female-lead superhero movie to accomplish this feat. It is also the first DCEU movie to receive positive reviews. Let's face it, the start of the DCEU has had its critics and Wonder Woman is the soft reboot it needed to survive because if this movie failed the DCEU would be dead in the water. Now that Wonder Woman was a box office and critical success, DC and Warner Bros. need to keep the momentum going with Justice League coming out in November. But does DC or Warner Bros. have a clear cut plan going forward?

The comic book world is filled with emotional DC Comics moments. While Marvel has had its fair share of stellar scenes, one cannot deny the heaviness of DC Comics at times. After all, the comic book publisher is home to Superman, Batman, and Wonder Woman, among an expansive list of other well-known superheroes. Regardless of their prowess as distinct individuals, it is their emotional DC Comics moments that have captured the attention of many loyal fans.

Lindsie PolhemusPublished 8 years ago in GeeksHistory of DC Comics
In a world that has been overtaken by the comic book film, it’s pretty important to understand and learn about where the main comic companies come from and how they came to be. One of the most famous companies is DC Comics. DC Comics is commonly seen as the main rival to Marvel Comics and proved to be a venture into darker territory for the comic book industry. DC Comics is known for its eclectic mix of heroes and villains, ranging from the iconic Superman and Batman to the dastardly like Joker and Zod. DC Comics can lay claim to much of what made comics what they are today, but the question is, how did they come to such prominence? How were they affected by the comic book censors? And what launched characters like Superman and Batman to such meteoric measures of fame? This is the history of DC Comics.
