Hero Defining Powers We Want To See Developed Before Season 2 of 'The Defenders'
The Defenders have gone through many incarnations since their first appearance in Marvel Feature #1 (Dec. 1971). The original members were a veritable who’s who of Marvel powerhouses wielding a wide array of abilities. Between The Incredible Hulk, Namor, Silver Surfer, and Doctor Strange, there isn’t much they couldn’t handle — including The Avengers. But don’t take my word for it. You can read about the epic battle between the two iconic groups in the Avengers/Defenders War (1973).

It seems crazy that in its short few years since finding its place online in the wake of Blockbusters becoming a dinosaur and eventually closing and companies like Lovefilm losing ground in its attempt at revolutionizing the entertainment-at-your-fingertips industry, Netflix has become a household name – and more – a meme. However – it doesn’t take a genius or an archaeologist to dig very far to find some absolute gold on the site.

Craziest Netflix Movies That Mess With Your Head
If you ask me, one of the biggest problems with mainstream Hollywood movies is that they rarely make you think. Most movies are visually stunning, superficial, and "feel good" trips that never really make the audience pause, and actually absorb what they're seeing.

Man on the Moon was one of my favorite movies of 1999. I had no idea what went into making the movie at the time I saw it in 1999. Had I been more aware of the tabloid crazy story that was going on behind the scenes I likely would have loved the movie even more. Jim Carrey has now detailed the making of Man on the Moon in a new Netflix documentary that debuts November 17th and it is a remarkable and fascinating insight into the mind of an artist.

(Warning: Spoilers ahead.) If you were to look at the picture I've included in this review without ever having seen an episode of Friends from College, you would assume the seven faces you see are the titular "friends," wouldn't you?
Review of Stranger Things 2
I found Stranger Things 2 bigger and better than 1. 1. More science, less metaphysics in 2 than 1. For me, this makes the horror impact of the story even stronger. Will is infected by a kind of virus from the other dimension. That means there's a logical way to fight it — in this case, heat. And this in turn means our heroes have a logical chance of winning, in addition to the supernatural, supra-physical, which also plays a major role, in the person of Eleven, AKA Jane.

So my friend Colton and I have a deal to watch each other's favorite TV shows, since we had never seen them. He's making me watch Doctor Who, and I'm making him watch The Office. While I think Doctor Who is pretty great so far, he's not sold on The Office and keeps claiming that his show is better. I say they are not even in the same category, so cannot be rightfully compared. Then he says the sacrilegious words that How I Met Your Mother is better than The Office.
