I’m not going to lie, I didn’t think much of the trailer for Little Women, but Laura wanted to go see it. I was skeptical going in, but it ended up being a really good movie. Little Women is a movie that follows 4 sisters through their adolescence and adulthood. The acting was amazing, the story is timeless and the themes are still relevant today. I would recommend going with your mother or best female friend to enjoy this movie together!

If you’ve been looking for a movie to watch that will make you feel good and improve your mood, I have just the perfect selection for you: Little Women.

This film is about strong women who don't need validation from anyone. It's about sisterhood and family and love and loyalty and bravery; it's about women taking control of their lives despite society trying to hold them back.

Throughout the course of this review I'd like to focus on some of these themes so that we can get into what makes this adaptation so special (and why it might even be better than its source material).

One thing that struck me about these performances is how true they were to the books themselves. There are so many adaptations where things change and get embellished for dramatic effect or because someone thought something would sound good, but this one felt like it was just taken straight out of Louisa May Alcott's brain—and that's what makes it amazing!

Little Women is an empowering movie for women. It's about a group of sisters learning to be independent and strong, even when their family is struggling to make ends meet. The bond between the four March girls is so tight that they're willing to risk themselves for each other—a rare feat in today's society.

My child, the troubles and temptations of your life are beginning, and may be many; but you can overcome and outlive them all if you learn to feel the strength and tenderness of your Heavenly Father as you do that of your earthly one. The more you love and trust Him, the nearer you will feel to Him, and the less you will depend on human power and wisdom. His love and care never tire or change, can never be taken from you, but may become the source of lifelong peace, happiness, and strength. Believe this heartily, and go to God with all your little cares, and hopes, and sins, and sorrows, as freely and confidingly as you come to your mother

The movie was made for modern audiences, but it is still true to its source material—the book by Louisa May Alcott. It follows the four March sisters: Meg (Leighton Meester), Jo (Saoirse Ronan), Beth (Trini Alvarado), and Amy (Claire Danes) as they grow up in 19th century America during an era when women were not allowed to attend college or vote at all. They have different personalities that make them different from each other as well as their mother Marmee who tries to keep everyone happy while raising four daughters on her own after her husband leaves them behind to fight on the war

It’s nice to see a movie where women don’t focus solely on men. In this film, the women are independent and strong, and they don't need a man to define who they are. It's refreshing after so many other films that portray women as weak and incapable of doing anything without a man to depend on.

I’m not saying you should go see this movie, but I am saying that if you don’t see it then you’ll miss out on some great acting performances and a story that is timeless for all ages. This movie has been remade many times over the years and each one has its own unique spin on the characters from Louisa May Alcott’s classic novel. The themes of friendship, loyalty, family values and sisterhood are universal in every adaptation as well as today's society so it makes sense to continue telling these stories through film adaptations of Little Women books because they will always be relevant no matter how much time passes by
