A Malayalam remake, White, featured Mammootty and Huma Qureshi in a double role. Another Malayalam film, Vinodayathra, reportedly included scenes inspired by the original My Sassy Girl.

China also released their version in 2010, titled My Sassy Girl 2, directed by Joe Ma and starring Lynn Hung and Leon Jay Williams. Nepal followed with their version titled Sano Sansar, which gained popularity among teenagers. Lithuania created a film adaptation titled Moterys meluoja geriau: Robertėlis in 2018, based on characters from a local TV drama.

The Philippines announced their own version in 2021, starring Toni Gonzaga and Pepe Herrera, with filming and production completed in the same year. The release date is yet to be announced. Indonesia joined the list with their version directed by Fajar Bustomi and starring Tiara Andini and Jefri Nichol, which was released in June 2022. With so many adaptations made worldwide, it's clear that the timeless story of My Sassy Girl continues to captivate audiences around the globe.
