BLQ's scheme to regain ELQ tops them all on 'General Hospital

The Quartermaine clan has done some devious things over the decades in order to regain control of the family business. Tracy and her dad Edward were the two that were the most aggressive when it came to ELQ. Now it seems that Brook Lynn has come up with the wackiest and most treacherous plan of all in order to right the wrong that she has done. She is faking a pregnancy by Valentin Cassadine in hopes that he will sign the controlling interest of her grandfather's company back over to the Q's.

Maxie has given birth to baby Louise in the woods and called BLQ to come and get them. GENERAL HOSPITAL spoilers indicate that the scheme will go off as planned but viewers believe this is going too far. It's one thing to have a man think a child is his when it belongs to someone else but Brook Lynn faking a pregnancy and passing off Peter's baby as Valentin's is cruel. In spite of all the devious things that the former Cassadine heir has done, the viewers do not believe he should be punished in such a manner.

Edward Loiuse Quartermanine International came on the scene in 1978 with the arrival of Edward,(David Lewis) who had the role until 1993 when John Ingle took over. Edward's wife Lila, and his children Tracy and Alan arrived in Port Charles and the Q mansion became legendary for scandals. The Quartermaine clan has gone through much trauma over the years. There was the time when Monica put them all out because Alan gave her the house. She and her lover Sean Donnelly attempted but failed a hostile take over the family business.

ELQ suffered when the pickle relish they produced by the name Pickel-Lila was poisoned by Franco and they also sold defective condoms which Jason used and Elizabeth got pregnant with Jake. Edward's illegitimate son Jimmy Lee Holt caused the Quartermaines to lose everything when he invested all the money in a bad deal. Edward and Lila however, forged ahead and built ELQ back up to the top yet again. Luke Spencer has tried to get his hands on the company and both Sonny Corinthos and Jasper Jacks once sat on the ELQ board.

Family members Ned, Michael, AJ, Alan, and Tracy have all been CEO at one time or another but at this time Valentin Cassadine holds the majority of stock which he is supposed to return to the family once his child is born. It looks like Brooke Lynn will succeed in fooling him and fans are disgruntled about the entire thing. In the early years, the plots and schemes were pretty hilarious and it was fun to watch the Q's lose the company only to regain control again. This time Valentin's heart will be broken and most fans wish it would not happen.

Some GENERAL HOSPITAL viewers believe Valentin is getting his payback because of tricking Nina into believing that Sasha was her daughter. When he finds out that Brooke Lynn was never pregnant it's possible a good lawyer could break the deal and Mr. Cassadine regains controlling interest in the company. There is also the issue of Maxie being a wild card and she might try to spend time with baby Lu. With Valentin and BLQ both living at the Q mansion there is sure to be a lot of craziness going on.

GENERAL HOSPITAL fans are grateful that there is life and laughter back in the house but do not like the recent renovations which removed every trace of the past history that had been built within the walls. As depressing as this baby scam will end up being for Valentin there will surely be some laughs along the way. Olivia might try to take over and Brooke Lynn pretending to be a new mom is really going to be comical. Even though most fans do not agree with this charade they will have no choice but to watch it play out and see how it ends.
